Summary: Remember that one magical summer you spent together? And how you thought everything was back to normal? But you were wrong.
I really wanted to right a second-person story and I love Miley-Support stories, so here it goes.
When all you wanted was to be wanted
Wish you could go back and tell yourself what you know now
You remember the day he first reappeared in your that he had changed, begging you to take him back.
So you do, fully believing him.
And then he comes and surprises you at your movie set and you're in awe.
You take him out on jet skis, your new favorite thing to do.
He leans in and tries to kiss you, but you can see the paparazzi so you turn away.
You find it funny that he seemed totally willing to kiss you in front of them, but you push it to the back of your mind 'cuz you're just so happy.
And you tell your friends and your family that he was back in your life. They just look at you with sympathy written all over the face and say Be careful.
But you laughed it off thinking they were just paranoid. How badly you wish you could go back and tell yourself to believe them.
But you can't.
And you remember that fateful day when you were going to let him know you loved him.
You skipped happily to him on the beach, his back to you.
"Yeah she's totally falling for it. Our song is going to get so much publicity!" Those words were like a slap in the face.
You call out his name and when he turns around and realizes you heard everything, he turns white.
"Miley," He manages to say.
You yell at him and tell him to get of your life. That your trust for him is now offically gone.
He does so, but not before you see the picture on his phone of him kissing some girl. Someone other than you.
And sadly you realize, he's been playing you all along.
That's all you were to him; some useless game.
And when the pain comes and you crumple into a ball, someone's arms are suddenly around you.
"You're beautiful and he doesn't deserve you," Liam whispers in your ear.
You repeat the words to yourself.
I'm beautiful and he doesn't deserve me.
But in your life you'll do things greater than
Dating the boy on the football team
I didn't know it at fifteen
