His eyes opened slowly....He looked around himself and a look of pure horror passed over his face.
Micah Sloat watched in shock as his girlfriend, Katie Featherson, carried his bloody, lifeless corpse, up the stairs.
"What the-" He whispered from the foot of the staircase before following her up. He got to the upper level just in time to hear her throw his body. He heard his camera fall, before hearing something like a crunching sound. (A/N: For people who don't understand, that was when Katie bit the camera). Micah walked into the bedroom and saw Katie walk away from the idem before moving over to his body and licking up some blood.
He shivered...This wasn't the Katie he knew...She seemed to be gone for good....Gone...Slipped away...And he had no one to blame but himself... and he knew it....He had failed her...He told her it would be ok and continued to play with fire, Only to have her get burned. He moved to the wall next to the open door, slid his back down it and sat on the floor, letting silent tears run down his face.

As time went by, the sun began to come up. The demon that had become Katie finished with Micah's body and stood up. She...or it, walked out of the room, before disappearing in front of Micah's eyes. He turned away from the door and looked past his dead body at his camera, and saw the tape was still intact. He felt like such a fool. She warned him, and he ignored her.... Micah continued to sit on the bedroom floor and mope, letting tears of guilt slide down his face.

Hours...days....weeks...
The time flow by slowly for Micah, who spent most of his time curled up in a ball on the bedroom floor. The loneliness was....unbearable. He didn't see the demon that was Katie often, but he normally could hear footsteps and movement around the house. He knew that the Demon knew he was there, and that it was tormenting him with fear...and regret.
Micah heard the demon walking down the stairs, but tried his best to ignore it. But after a while, he heard a voice that he missed, he only wished it wouldn't have been crying in fear.
"MICAH!!!!!" Katie's voice riped through the silence like a knife through flesh. She ran up the stairs and into the bedroom, stopping halfway in and gasping at the sight of Micah's slowly roting corpse lying face down. Katie fell to her knees and began to sob loudly.
"Katie....Katie!" Micah called out to her over and over, but she couldn't hear him. Micah didn't know how to use his power and energy's as a spirit.
The demon must have taken over her again shortly after. She stood up and walked to him. She smirked down at him before disappering, and the sound of footsteps were heard walking down the stairs.
Over the weeks, Micah would occasionally hear Katie scream, but it was only for a moment, before an unearthly growl was heard, and then the house became silent yet again.
