Wolf Eyes
I stood staring out the windows of my apartment, watching the snowfall heavily. I like out a sigh of despair. ' Stupid bloody weatherman, it wasn't suppose to have a snowstorm today! Oh God what am I going to do I'm supposed to meet Severus in a half-an-hour!' For some reason my eyes felt drawn to the small piece of paper framed above my burgundy chair it was a poem Severus had written to me before the beginning of our relationship. "Sevvy." I say aloud, a smile forms on my face. The poem had always had touched him emotionally in some way.
Wolf EyesAs I look into your eyes,
I see pain and sorrow,
You howl your goodbyes,
Knowing you won't see tomorrow.
The wind is cool,
The earth is calm,
The water is a transparent pool.
The night is long,
Something that won't last forever,
Because there's always dawn.
You're all alone,
There's no one in sight,
Always trying to find a home,
But soon after you take your flight.
But in the end it all seems worth it,
You look at me, and I, you.
Our love knows no limit,
You hold me safe and warm,
And I remember the day you almost bit,
I knew you would protect me from harm.
The snow had lightened up a bit and I took my chances of making my way towards Hogwarts, to see a certain Potions Master. I greeted those still present at the school, most had gone home for the holiday. I made my way down into the dungeons to his office.
"Remus there you are, I thought you weren't coming." His voice calls to me sarcastically from across the empty room.
"Of course I'd come Severus snow can not stop me." I joke lightly, and smile. He quietly looks at me for a few moments and a smile slowly immerges on his face. He walks towards me and wraps his arms around me, hugging me to him, giving me little kisses on my lips.
"Happy Anniversary Remmy." He replies softly.
"Happy Anniversary Severus." I reply just as softly.
I hope you enjoyed my story/poem! Please review and telling me what you think! Ja ne!
