TMNT 1

"Remember, to be a true ninja you must become one with the shadows. Darkness gives the ninja power, while light reveals the ninja's presence. Now, can you extinguish this flame without revealing yourselves." Master Splinter instructed as he moved the flickering candle from his walking stick to his paw. He must've heard footsteps because he moved the candle out of the way of his first child. "Too noisy, Donatello" he moved out of the way of another attempt. "Too clumsy, Michelangelo" and during someone else's attempt he was tripped by a walking stick. "Poor choice, Raphael" the forth tried to keep quiet and be the least bit clumsy, but that didn't even work and ended up colliding with the others. "Not your best, Elisabetta" just then something sliced the candle in half. It landed right on the katana, but before the owner could extinguish the flame a black chain flew from the corner wrapping itself around the candle and pulling it away from him. Putting it out is the process. Just then the lights came on and the manriki wielder tossed the candle to Leo. "Well done, Leonardo and Marietta."

"Teacher's pets." Raph muttered.

"Ninja dropout." Leo countered.

"Ooo!" Mikey, Don and Elisabetta.

Raph and Leo threatened to start a fight. "Eep!" Marietta squealed as she moved out of the way of her older brothers. "My sons." Master Splinter stopped them then sighed. "My children… if you are to become true ninja you must work harder." all six knelt down in front him. Marietta and Elisabetta were the only two girls living with a bunch of males. Marietta being the third oldest was a little bit smaller then her brothers she had on a long black mask that was tied in a braid running down her shell and pale green skin. She had a reasonable sized chest and carried a manriki. Elisabetta looked just about the same only she had jade green skin, a white mask tied in a braid and a pair of tonfas "Your path in life will not be an easy one." Master Splinter continued. "The outside world will not be a friendly place for you. You six are different in ways the surface dwellers would never understand." Marietta started watching as Mikey tried to catch a fly that wouldn't stop bothering him. "To survive, you must master these skills I teach you. Ninjutsu powers of stealth and secrecy. You must become kage, shadow warriors and you must never be discovered by the outside world." Mikey finally caught the fly in both hands causing Marietta to stifle her giggle when Master Splinter gave him a look.

The room started shake and stones and debris started to fall from the ceiling "What is that noise?" Splinter asked.

"Whoa! Earthquake!" Mikey said while backing away with the others.

"In New York?" Don said "Possible, but not likely."

"Great, now move." Elisabetta pulled her brother out of the way of a large slab of stone that broke off.

Just then something blew down the wall and some weird mechanical machines walked through. Everybody pulled out their weapons "What are those things?" Leo asked.

"New York City cockroaches?" Mikey and Marietta guessed.

"Whatever they are, they picked the wrong party to crash." Raph said and kicked the first one. That started a whole mess of fighting leaving a mess of scrap metal in their wake.

In the middle of the fight Leo must've noticed Master Splinter because then he shouted. "We have to help Master Splinter. Come on." as they made their way to their father more of the weird mechanical machines were chewing through the supports that kept their home intact. Marietta was the one closest to him so she charged towards her master as fast as her legs could take her. She pulled him out of the way just before the ceiling caved in.

They ran through the huge dust cloud. "Oh no." Leo said.

"Master Splinter!" Raph said. "Mari!"

Leo tried to pull a rather large stone out of the way "Master Splinter!? Mari!? NOOOO!"

Raph stomped on one of the machines that started moving again.

Mikey began inspecting one closely. "What the shell are those things?"

"Whatever they are…" Raph started.

Elisa kicked it "They're nothing, but junk now."

"Guys, Splinter and Mari." Leo reminded. "We've got to find them."

"Don, do you think you could…?" Elisa began.

"Already on it." Don had his shell cell out.

"What are you doing?" Leo asked.

"Shell cell, I'm calling them… I hope."

On the other side of the rubble, a ringing sound woke Splinter up. He looked over to his daughter who was starting to wake up herself. He pulled the shell cell from his robe and managed to open it, but then "Hm, which button do you press to answer this thing?"

Leo took the shell cell away from Don. "Master Splinter, are you alright?"

"Hello?" Splinter asked. "HELLO?"

"Master Splinter…"

"Stupid Device" at that point Mari was fully conscious and was giggling madly at her father.

"Master Splinter, you do know you already answered it right?" Mari finally said when she had enough.

"Mari, you're okay?" she heard Leo say.

"Of course I'm okay, I'm made of some pretty tough stuff you know. And how many times do I have to tell you that Master Splinter and technology do not mix" that comment earned her a glare from her father. She smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of her head nervously "Sorry Sensei."

"Leonardo, whatever those mechanical menaces are, they have managed to eat through the support structure of our home. We must leave right away."

Elisa, Mikey, Don and Raph all crowded around Leo so they could try to hear better. Mikey got in Raph and Elisa's way so they promptly pushed him out of the way. "Meet me and your sister at the old drainage junction in south point."

Don pulled a map out of his duffel bag and blew some dust off of it. "If we take the south conduit, it'll intersect with the old drainage tunnel."

"We'll meet you guys there Sensei."

Then Mikey popped back in. "What'd he say? What'd he say? Did he mention me?"

Raph and Elisa pushed him down again before they started walking.

"Goodbye broken pipe, goodbye grungy payphone, goodbye dented manhole cover, goodbye home sweet home." Mikey said.

"Hello cruel world." Raph said. "Come on." he latched onto his brother's bandanna tails and pulled him away.

"Looks like those things have been through here." Leo mentioned.

"Wow, they caused quite a lot of damage out here." Elisa looked around.

"These walls are seriously compromised, it's lucky this roof hasn't caved in." as soon as he said that, he froze because in front of him was the roof that caved in.

"You were saying."

Leo sighed. "Can't go forward, can't go back."

"Looks like we go up." Raph headed for the closest ladder.

"Hitting the surface is a bad idea."

"We've got no other way to go Leo." Don reminded.

"Yeah, you just said so before." Elisa said. "Can't go forward, can't go back."

He groaned. "Alright, but we're only going up to go down the next manhole, got it. No fooling around, remember what Sensei said. It's dangerous for us to be seen, let alone captured. We need to stay out of sight."

"We got it the first thousand times Leo. Just follow my lead." Raph was the first out of the manhole and Elisa insisted on going up after him, but Leo took a longer time sneaking out.

"Come on Leo, move it. I don't wanna be staring at your butt anymore then I have to." Mikey complained.

I am so glad I came out second Elisa thought, then immediately hid in the shadows as a guy on a scooter rolled by.

Elisa followed closely behind Raph, when he found a manhole cover. They swiftly crossed the street before another car drove by, but were cut off when an armored truck backed up into the alley and right on top of the manhole cover. "Now what?"

They waited for all of the people to get out of the vehicle. "That doesn't look good." Elisa commented.

"Great… just great… the ol' turtle luck running true to form" Elisa flinched when her older brother decided to kick the truck.

"Really? Was that necessary?" she hissed.

"Way to be stealthy Raph." Leo whispered.

"Yeah I don't think they heard you over in Jersey." Mikey said with the worst jersey accent ever

"Give us a hand." Mikey raised his hands to start clapping. "Don't even think about it Mikey… forget you guys, I'll push it myself." he attempted to push it on his own to no avail.

"Yeah, how's that working out for you Raph?" she turned when she heard voices coming from inside.

"Hide guys! Come on! Hurry!" Leo panic whispered to them.

Raph hopped in the back of the truck and hid on the ceiling.

"Idiot." Elisa chided and hopped on top of the truck keeping herself out of view of the people that came out. They threw multiple duffel bags into the back and then took off after locking the back, of course. As they pulled out of the alley Elisa back flipped off of it landing near her three remaining brothers.

"Only Raph would do something like that." Elisa face palmed.

"This is exactly what Master Splinter was talking about. We've gotta to get him out of there."

"Last one to the roof hatched from a rotten egg." Don said while climbing the fire escape. The others followed suit and watched the truck drive by.

"We can cut them off at third and first." Leo said.

"If we run like crazy." Don mentioned.

"Is there any other way to run?" Mikey asked.

"No, no there isn't." Elisa finished off following them.

As Mikey got ahead of them he started teasing as only Mikey can. "You guys are too slow." just as he said that Elisa, Leo and Don flipped over him and continued their running until they came to an alley.

Back down in the sewers

Master Splinter and Marietta made it to the old drainage junction and started looking around. Master Splinter sighed. "The old drainage junction. Now where are the rest of my children?"

"I can only imagine, Master Splinter."

The floor started rumbling and began to crack "Oh jeez, more cockroaches." Mari said as she and Splinter were forced to back away from the weird machines.

Back on the surface

Elisa, Leo, Don and Mikey watched as the armored truck pulled into the alley. The members in the truck exited and went inside, leaving some huge, extra chunky dude to watch the truck. Mikey climbed down and took care of him. Leo followed. "Nice work Mikey."

"Eh, it's a ninja thing."

"Now, let's get Raph out of there."

Elisa waved at Raph while he was banging on the door and saying something that no one could understand, since his voice was muffled behind the door.

"Man, whatever happened to good old fashioned padlocks?"

"Ha, where's the fun in that?" Don said looking to his sister. "This one's all ours." he pulled out two screwdrivers from his duffel bag and handed one off to Elisa.

While Raph continued to bang on the window and yell. Mikey couldn't help, but tease him. "What's that Raphael, you're gonna have to speak up dude. I can't hear you."

Raph got so mad he ended up kicking the door "Okay, I heard that."

"Would you quit provoking him?" Elisa asked.

"Yeah, we're trying to work here." Don said.

After a few minutes of tampering with the lock it finally clicked open. Elisa ducked as her hotheaded brother jumped out of the back and tackled Mikey to the ground.

"What a hothead." Leo said.

"Tell me about it." Elisa agreed with a nod of her head then looked over her shoulder. "Uh… guys." she pulled out her tonfas.

"We don't have time for this." Leo warned.

"And why not?" Raph asked.

"Cause we're not alone." Mikey said.

"Look at the freaks." one of the men said.

"What's with the dweeby costumes?" another said.

"This ain't Halloween."

"Your going down freaks." the possible leader of the pack said. "Nobody messes with the Purple Dragons."

"You're calling us freaks, you're the one with the creepy haircut. And shouldn't the color of your dragon tats be… I don't know, more manly." Elisa taunted.

The Purple Dragons attacked only to be taken down in about five seconds by five turtles. And to make them seem even more pathetic they ran off "Jeez, what pansies." Elisa teased.

"Well that was easier than expected." Don said.

"I hope there are more of those guys." Raph crossed his arms. "I'm just getting warmed up."

"Uh… well… looks like you got your wish Raphie boy." Mikey pointed up to the rooftop where shadowy figures were standing.

"Are those guys… ninjas?" Leo asked.

The dark figures hopped off the roof and surrounded them. "Well, they're certainly ninja- esque" Mikey said.

"Be ready for anything…"

"I am so gonna enjoy this." Raph smirked.

"As am I, dear brother" Elisa said.

And so the fight with the new ninjas commenced. Elisa took on only a few at a time taking the offensive and defensive, but every time they were knocked down by her tonfas they would get right back up. Donnie and Mikey weren't doing too well either. They hid inside the truck so they wouldn't get hit by a bunch of shuriken flying toward them. We've got to get outta here.

Back to the sewers

Mari and Splinter waited for those mechanical menaces to attack first. When they did Splinter took out the first two with his walking stick then Mari took out the last one with the weight of her manriki. Once they were nothing, but twisted metal, the floor started to rumble.

"Uh-oh." Mari whispered right before it crumbled underneath them. They slid all the way down to the bottom "Hey, that was awesome! Let's go again, let's go again!" she cheered earning her a whack on top of her head by Master Splinter "Ow… what I do?"

Splinter started walking down a path and Mari voluntarily followed until they came up to a huge chamber. "Whoa… cool!" Mari exclaimed.

Surface

"Jeez they just keep coming." Elisa half whined, half growled.

"Time to switch to plan b." Leo said "Donatello."

"Almost there Leo." he was busy hotwiring the truck. "This bus now leaving for… anywhere, but here."

Elisa hopped in the back of the truck followed by her brothers and they swerved outta there.

"Whoa, nice driving Don. For a turtle with no license." Mikey exclaimed as he bounced around.

"Hey you want pretty or you want effective."

"Both would be nice, Donnie" Elisa complained.

"I gotta tell ya this has been one mondo bizarro day." Mikey said. "First all those metal robot things underground, and what's with all those ninjas. Ninjas in New York City… besides us, it's just not right."

Don made a sharp turn throwing him to the floor.

"Talk about not right…" Raph rooted through one of the duffel bags. "Check this out." he dumped the money out on the floor.

"Show me the money baby! WOOHOO!" Mikey cheered. Elisa pulled out one of her tonfa and whacked him over the head with it. "Ow!"

"This isn't finders keepers Mikey." Leo said sternly

They just happened to conveniently pass a cop car. What better place to leave the money then with them. They threw it on the hood of the car and drove off. Don decided to drive straight into the sewers and threw the tunnels to the drainage junction. "Remind me to never let you behind the wheel of any vehicle in the future Don" Elisa said rubbing her head.

"Oh come on, it wasn't that bad."

"Yeah it was." she said then joined in the group hug with Mari and Splinter.

"I'm glad to see you too, my children."

"Master Splinter, so much has happened today." Leo said.

"Yes, yes. There will be time to tell me all about it later, Leonardo, but first, your sister and I wish to take you all home." Splinter said calmly and he started to walk with Mari, the five remaining turtles shared a confused glance.

"Sensei, wasn't our home destroyed?" Elisa asked in confusion.

"Yeah. Those robots trashed our pad." Raph added.

"Do not worry. I believe I have found the solution to our current housing problem." they stopped at a large hole "Follow me, my children." Master Splinter jumped down.

The others still looked confused "Come on guys, let's go." Mari encouraged then followed Splinter. They waited for them at the bottom where they all collided with each other.

"Wicked slide." Mikey said.

"I know, wasn't it awesome." Mari said giving him a high three.

"No offence Master Splinter, but this place doesn't seem so great."

"Look with your heart, Michelangelo, and not your eyes."

"Um… okay."

"And walk this way." Mari shrugged and she and Mikey mimicked how he walked.

Don pulled out his bo and meant to hit both of them on the head, but Mari ducked. "Ow!" Mikey exclaimed.

"Haha" Mari teased then Elisa hit her on the head with her tonfa "Ow!" she whined.

Once they stepped through the doorway their eyes widened. "Whoa!"

"I had a feeling they'd like it." Mari said still rubbing the back of her head.

Mikey was already claiming rooms before anyone else could.

"No way Mikey, that is my room!" Mari yelled. "I claimed it before you got here."

"You see my children, change is good."

"We couldn't agree more Master Splinter." Leo agreed.

"Good, so let's see you boys clean up for a change. This chamber is filthy."

"What about the girls?" Mikey complained.

"Hm, if I remember correctly we were pretty much your maids back at our old place." Elisa said, arms crossed.

"I think we deserve a little break." Mari joined in. "Don't you?" with that they walked away to go find their own rooms.

"Have fun boys." the girls teased and stuck their tongues out at them.
