A/N Ok another John/Jamie story, it was one of my first but I had to rewrite it sp hopefully its better but we all know it couldn't be as good as the other two I did but well read, review and make your own judgements. And yes Jamie is still random because thats what makes her so awesome!

Chapter 1 Lights, switches & knobs

Jamie Michales looked around the building her eyes growing wider and wider by the second. Jamie was surrounded by her second favourite thing in the world, bright colours and loud noises.

"Dad I officially love your work" Jamie cheered happily. "Its so bright!"

Shawn laughed at his baby-girl. He figured she would be nervous but as always Jamie was distracted with the bright colours. Since her accident Shawn kept his girl closer than ever, her attention span went down while her niavity went up, she was most mens dream now. Not only was she beautiful with her long blonde hair and bright blue eyes but she believed everything you told her. Well most of the time. Not to mention with her long ivory legs Jamie looked older than her sixteen years. Shawn figured that travelling with her for a few months would mean a few more months that she would be without a boyfriend because anyone that showed an interest in her would be superkicked in the face.

"Dad where are we going?" Jamie asked as they passed more bright lights. "I love those bright lights"

"We're going to the gym, to work out"

"Is this another fat joke?"

"No"

"Your just trying to be nice"

"Yeah so?"

"Hey look, bright blue!" Jamie said pointing out ring gear "I like blue but you know whats better? Purple!"

Shawn tried not to roll his eyes as his youngest started to go on about her hero, John Cena. It was no sceret within the Michales clan that Jamie absoutely worshipped John Cena. It got to a point where John was her God and no one could insult him in front of her.

"Jamie sweetie, for the last time. John isn't a God"

"Yes he is and you know what the best thing about God is? God doesn't wear pants"

"Oh he'll wear them while I'm around or I'll get your sisters nail gun and nail them to his hips so they don't fall off while he's around you"

"Let me tell you something Mr man, my God John cannot wear pants because that would be...Hey another bright light!" Jamie grinned up at her father "What was I saying?"

"Something about a crystal" Shawn answered setting his stuff down in the gym. Jamie however looked over at the only other user in awe. John Cena half naked, lifting weights. Music flooding his head. He noticed them but didn't comment.

"Dad can I touch him?" Jamie looked to Shawn hopefully. She would give anything to touch John.

"If you want his fingers broken" Shawn shrugged as John took off his music.

"Hey Shawn"

"Hey John, Jamie this is John, John this is my youngest Jamie"

"Your so hot and sweaty"

"Jamie!" Shawn looked at her mortifyed, John however laughed. Not what he expected to come from her mouth.

"What? Because he was working out. What did you think I meant?" Jamie asked looking at the tredmills. "Can I do some running?"

"Sure can baby-girl" Shawn stopped what he was doing and set up the machine for her. Jamie clapped her hands and giggled as the machine made a beep everytime she walked, the dash in front of her lit up tracking her heart rate. It was her new favourite machine.

"Jamie will be travelling with us for a few months while she studies for her tourism degree" Shawn explained to John who watched the young girl giggling at the random noises. John couldn't help but look her over, not only was she pretty she didn't seem to care what he could be thinking when she made her comment.

"Must be interesting learning about new places Jamie" John put in trying to start a conversation with the young girl. Jamie didn't answer, not that she didn't hear him but because the noise and the colours held her attention.

"Don't take it personally John, we all come second to bright colours and loud noises" Shawn laughed setting up weights.

"Sorry you were saying?" Jamie smiled up at her 'God' She was just happy he was acknowledging her, most people didn't even bother these days.

"It must be interesting learning about different places in the world"

"Yeah I like the bright lights"

"We got the memo Jamie" Shawn spoke up, not liking that John seemed very interested in making conversation with his little girl. Shawn turned his attention back to his own tredmill, most of the buttons and lights worn out. "Fucking machine, not a light, switch or knobs that work"

"Oh cut the bleeding heart crap Dad, we all have our lights, switches and knobs. Over here there are litterly thousands of lights, switches and knobs and there all useless"

"She's got you there Shawn" John laughed quite liking Jamies sense of humor.

Shawn was about to respond when his cellphone beeped. Looking at it, he groaned. Now Vince wanted to see him, he couldn't see him yesterday when he didn't have his young daughter there.

"Who was it?"

"The oldman. I have to go and see him"

"Oh yay! John Wayne!" Jamie clapped her hands mashing the board to make the tredmill stop. "Lets go and see the wizard of Oz"

"I think its best if you stay here Jamie" Shawn started, he couldn't believe that he was even thinking this but he figured of all the guys to trust, he could trust John.

"Could you keep an eye on her?"

John shrugged "Sure"

"I'm confused, can I play on the running machine again?"

"Sure can"

"Yay!" Jamie mashed the board again, turning the machine on.

"I shouldn't be long, if anything happens to her"

"Relax Shawn, she'll be fine" John assured him.
