The Unexpected

I hear the loud crashes as my brother vociferously plays his drums. I just couldn't understand why my mum would let Jonathan and his band mates 'rehearse' while she was gone but would not allow me to crash over at Simon's. It is just befuddling, me and Simon have been best friends since he stole my crayons in kindergarten whilst Jonathan only created a band so he could get laid. I lightly pressed my pencil against my art book when another loud crash erupted. That was the final straw, I pulled my hand through my fiery red hair and walked over to the garage.

I glare at Jonathan as I throw my art book at him. He then stops drumming and yells, "What was that for?!"

I walk myself over to Jonathan and shove my finger over to his shoulder, " there are other people in this household, do you know that? I am trying to do my art coursework, you know how this affects twenty percent of my grade!"

He laughs vigorously, "dear sister, you do know how I don't give a crap about your stupid work. Now run along sis, there are men here who want to do some actual work." He turns and looks over at Sebastian who replies with a smug on his face.

I scowl at Jonathan, already feeling tired I do not respond to Jonathan and I make my way to my room. Suddenly a figure blocks my exit as my head hits his chest. I look up and see a boy with blazing gold eyes with curly blond hair. I bring myself to say the dreadful name, "Jace?"
