This is a sequel to my story In Loving Memory but you don't really need to read it to understand this.

You just have to know that Kagome's grandfather is dead.

Jii-chan grandfather

We will never forget you

November 8 1932 – May 15 2005

Kagome walked down the stairs of her home in a black dress and black high heels. Her normally bright eyes filled with pain and unshed tears.

InuYasha was waiting in the living room. He also wore black. "Ready?"

Kagome grabbed her coat and nodded. The two walked out the door into the cool November air.

InuYasha took Kagome's hand as they walked down the street. Kagome's eyes were down cast and sad as her feet traced an all too familiar path. They stopped in front of the cemetery.

"Kagome. . ,?" the girl didn't respond. She just walked silently through the cemetery as InuYasha followed. She stooped in front of one grave. She carefully brushed away the dust from it. She traced the name lovingly as the unshed tears spilled silently.

"Happy birthday Jii-chan." she whispered. In the wind she head a faint response

"Arigatou gozaaimasu, Kagome-samma"

Kagome turned her eyes to heaven once more filled with hope.

"For all the Saints . . . "
