DON'T OWN HOUSE.

House and Cuddy were sitting in her office. House knew he'd really done it this time. Pushed the one button he shouldn't have, but he just couldn't resist.

"You do realize you just killed a patient right?" She asked.

"I didn't think it would kill him." House said.

"I can't just let this one go unpunished." She said.

"I didn't intentionally kill him, though."

"It doesn't matter, House! That man died because you didn't follow protocol. You have to deal with the consequences." Cuddy said.

"I just skipped a tiny step. It was an honest mistake. Can't you just let it go?"

"No."

"Why not!"

"I've let you do too many things because I love you." Cuddy said.

"Sure. Like what?" House scoffed.

"I broke off my engagement to Lucas because I love you." She answered.

"And then you broke up with me." House said.

"You're a vicodin addict, House! I asked you to get clean, and you did for a while. But then you started using again. Rachel can't be around that."

"Maybe you don't realize that the whole reason I at least tried to get off of vicodin is because I love you." House said.

"Well obviously not enough. You started using again." Cuddy answered glumly.

"Isn't it enough to know that I tried? I actually was nice to you and Rachel. Because I love you." He argued.

"You're right. I'm not in love with the man I think you can be, I'm in love with the man you are." Cuddy said.

"And you're perfect." House said, giving her a quick kiss on the lips.

"House!" Rachel squealed, and launched herself into his arms.

"Hi, Parasite." House said.

"Honey, I thought you were in bed." Cuddy raised an eyebrow at her daughter.

"I thought I heard House's voice." Rachel shrugged, still clinging to House.

"I guess she's not that bad." House sighed.

"Of course she's not. She's an adorable toddler." Cuddy smiled.

"I love you." House said, his voice quiet so as not to wake the now sleeping Rachel.

"I'm dating you again because I love you." Cuddy said.

VERY CLICHÉ, I KNOW, BUT I JUST THOUGHT I'D POST IT.
