A little thing I did for SasuHina week on DeviantArt way back when.

SasuHina Week: Theme-Change

"B-but…"

"No buts."

"S-Sasuke…"

"Oh, no, don't you dare look at me like-fine. Have it your way."

"It's just one night." Hinata grumbled, her pretty forehead wrinkling up while she smoothed down the front of her boyfriend's dark blue kimono.

"B-besides, it's t-time for a change, and…" She began stuttering again when he grabbed her slender wrists in his own pale hands, forcing her to look up at him. "You look p-pretty."

She giggled when Sasuke practically pushed her away and crossed his arms, an indignity pout on his fine features.

"Stop laughing at me." He warned, his tone dark. "Or I'll-"

"You'll what?" Hinata was feeling confident now, having gotten her way. She slowly made her way to where he had fallen back against the couch. She smiled seductively and straddled him, thanking Kami her yukata was a bit too big. "Will big bad Sasuke punish me?" She whispered, before kissing the side of his neck.

Sasuke had frozen the moment she had touched him. What was she doing to him? This-this girl had made him change his mind, change his clothes, and now…

"H-Hinata." He managed to choke out. "I'm not going to be in any shape to be meeting your-ahh." She had captured his lips now, and he gave in and kissed her back. She was warm and sweet beneath his lips, tasting of vanilla and cinnamon.

"Maybe I changed my mind." The normally shy Hyuuga breathed as they parted. She peered up at him beneath her long dark lashes. "But then again…"

She hopped up from his lap and smoothed down her own deep blue yukata. "Shall we go then?" Her voice was perky and cheerful, but her lavender eyes twinkled with humor.

"You-" Sasuke panted as he stood up. "Are a horrible tease. I hate you."

"Oh." Hinata sighed dramatically, bringing a hand to her heart. "So does that mean you don't want to marry me anymore? Have you had a change of heart?"

Now Sasuke was done teasing. He pinned her against the doorway, one arm on resting against the door on each side of her head. "Never." He whispered huskily in her ear.

He kissed her hard on the lips, before moving down to her neck and then her shoulder. "You belong to me." He growled, lifting his lips from her shoulder for a moment. Then he bit down, causing her to let out a small cry.

"There." Now the balance had returned. He was the dominant one again. "Now your father will know you're mine, whether he gives us his blessing or not. Now let's go, Hina." He opened the door, causing Hinata to stumble out. He caught her and helped her stand up before wrapping her small hand in his own callused one, half dragging her out of the small home they shared. A bright blush covered her cheeks as she tried to adjust her yukata with her free hand in an attempt to cover the mark Sasuke had left.

"S-Sasuke, I can't go to dinner like this!" She tried to reason with him.

"Nope. We're going right now. Besides, you wanted the bastard's blessing in the first place. Now he'll know exactly who he's messing with now-the Uchiha's property." A familiar smirk now covered his face, and Hinata sighed internally. There was no turning back, not when he was like this. And here she thought she had made progress. But…maybe…one more try…

"B-but…"

"No buts."

"S-Sasuke…"

"Not this time. No."

Hinata sighed aloud this time, but gave in and allowed Sasuke to slip his arm around her small waist, holding her close as they walked.

No, nothing had changed.

But somehow, as Sasuke gave her their private smile as they later kneeled in front of her father, Hinata realized something, causing her to smile herself when her father's eyes rested on her shoulder, where the fabric had slipped.

She didn't mind.
