"Cas."

The angel heard Dean calling his name. It struck panic in him, knowing it was likely Dean was in danger. He quickly blinked to Dean's location.

"Dean, what's wro-" He was in a dark hotel room. He looked around to analyze his surroundings. Was it some sort of trap? His eyes came to one of the two double beds, which held a sleeping figure. Closer inspection proved the figure was Dean, fast asleep.

'That's odd,' Cas thought, ' how could Dean call me when he's asleep?'

His question was quickly answered.

"Cas." Dean murmured in his sleep. Castiel was a bit taken aback. Was Dean dreaming of him? Why was he saying his name? What could he possibly be dreaming? Cas examined the other bed. It was empty. He quickly looked around the hotel room to find that Sam was not there.

Seeing that he was alone, Cas decided to take a leap of faith. He started first just by sitting next to Dean in his bed. He then, tentatively, started stroking his hair. Cas began to examine his face. It was handsome, and he couldn't stop looking. Something about it just… He wasn't exactly sure what he was feeling. He wasn't used to such strong emotions. As Cas looked at him, Dean's eyes opened just a bit to see Cas. He was hardly awake, but he looked at Cas and said "come here" and lifted up the blanket next to him. Cas slowly got underneath the blanket as Dean began drifting back to sleep. For a while Cas just laid there, not sure where to go from that point, and then he felt an arm going around him.

Cas felt so at peace. It was the first time he had ever wished he could sleep. Eventually, he was able to relax so much that, though he was still conscious, was barely so, and was as close to sleep as an angel could get. In fact, he was so calm that he didn't hear the hotel door open or Sam walk in

Sam was absolutely exhausted. It was 3 in the morning and he had just gotten back from the library. He couldn't wait to fall in bed and never wake up. The life of a hunter, he thought. It wasn't all that much different from college, minus the constant danger of being eaten and the different city every day. When he walked into the room, he saw a sight that at first surprised him:Dean Castiel all cuddled up in bed together. Sam at first did a double take, and after realizing what he saw was true, snickered.

"I knew it." He whispered, and fell into bed, falling asleep almost instantly.

Dean awoke in the middle of the night. He slowly gained consciousness and soon realized he had his arm around someone. He sat up a little, and saw Cas in his arms. At first he was terrified. How did this happen? He thought it was just a dream. That was real? After the initial panic, he realized he liked it and was much too tired to fight with himself, so he put his arm back around Cas and fell back asleep.
