To: Great great great grandfather, Goku

From: Your grandson, Goku jr.

The story's I hear of you,
there all so...
So great...
But...

I'm not you,
I can't live up to the expectations,
Grandma expects me to be like you,
She's disappointed every day.

She wants me to have perfect balance,
To fight without fear,
To stand up, without getting nervous,
To catch everything flying at me, with perfect speed.

But I can't balance,
I can't stay fearless,
I can't keep myself from getting nervous,
And I can't catch everything with perfect speed.

Vegeta's a lot better than me,
He could live up to these expectations,
His strong and fearless,
And so much better than me.

The only thing I can live up to,
Is your appetite,
And I'm not so sure that's a good thing?
Sorry Grandfather.

My parents died when I was young,
I live with my grandma,
And I'm no good against bullies,
But plenty with my studies.

Studying's easy,
Bullies are my problem,
They keep picking on me,
And I can't fight back.

I'd much rather sit in the corner,
Playing with my rocket pen,
It has a space ship and stars in it,
And they move around with the pen.

I train for fun,
Not to fight,
Fightings bad,
Right?

Grandma tell me great stories,
Of you saving the world,
I'd never be able to do that,
But I suppose I could try.

I may not be good,
But I'll try my best,
To be like you,
And make you proud.

I'll try to protect this planet you loved!
I'll try to do better in training!
I'll try to fight those mean ol' bullies!
And I'll try to beat Vegeta, like you beat his grandfather!

Don't worry Grandfather!

I'll protect this place with my life!

Just like you once did!
