Disclaimer: I own nothing really, most of the plot came from another book called 'trouble in paradise'. The HP stuff came from Jk Rowling. I changed the plot a bit. In this story, the weasleys don't know the malfoy's. yet.
Chapter one.
Ginny Weasley was upset. Her mother was taking her to some stupid hotel to live in, and her mother was getting a job at that island. COULD THIS POSSIBLY GET ANY WORSE!!! She thought, as she and her mother flooed there.
"OOH!" her mother said, stepping out of a large fireplace. "Oh, Ginny. Isn't it beautiful?! I already love it here!" Ginny looked around, it was ok, but, nothing compared to the burrow.
"Welcome," a tall blonde haired man smiled, walking up to them. "I'm Lucius Malfoy, and I presume you are Molly Weasley?"
"Yes, that is correct." Molly smiled back, "And this is my daughter Virginia." He looked at her for a while, then smiled.
"I have a child myself, ah, and here he is." Lucius said, as a shorter blonde hunk came walking up. "Draco, meet Molly and Virginia Weasley. Draco, I trust you will show Virginia around while I show Mrs. Weasley what she'll be doing."
"Sorry, I'm busy." Draco said, looking at the trunk in his hand.
"All right." Lucius smiled. "Ah, Cho, would you be so kind as to show Virginia around?"
"Of course." Cho smiled, "This way." She said to Ginny, directing her outside. When they were safely outside (out of Lucius' earshot), Blaise turned to Ginny. "Listen carefully, red, I don't have times to show you around this entire island. Just wander around and you'll be fine." She turned quickly, leaving Ginny by herself.
"You'll be fine, just fine." She said quietly to herself. She looked around, and noticed the (large) hotel, and decided to head to her room.
In the hotel. Ginny headed from front desk, a key in her hand. She ran up the stairs, straight into someone.
"OH! I'm so sorry." Ginny said, standing up.
"That's ok." He said, getting up. She looked at him closely, he had messy black hair, andbright green eyes. "Hey, wanna play Quiddich with me? My original partner hasn't showed up." "I'd love to." She said, "oh, I don't have a broom."
"That's all right. I have two." He said, smiling, and picking up the other broom. "I'm Harry."
"Virginia, but you can call me Ginny." She smiled, walking outside with him. They played Quiddich for an hour, until.
"HARRY!" Cho called from below, "Sorry I'm late."
"An hour late." He said, landing on the ground. "Ginny! You can keep the broom, I was going to give it away anyway."
"Thanks Harry." Ginny said, landing on the ground beside him. "I'll go since your partner's here." Cho smiled brightly at her.
"Bye-bye Virginia." She smiled turning to Harry. Ginny flew off, looking around the island. She noticed a building she hadn't seen, flew down, and went inside. She saw a large room, an adult teaching ballet on a stage, and a girl with puffy hair, by a window.
"What are you reading?" Ginny asked, walking up to the puffy haired girl. She looked at Ginny.
"Hogwarts: a history." She said, "I'm waiting for my mother."
"THAT'S your mother?" Ginny said, shocked.
"Yeah. My name's Hermione."
"Virginia, but you can call me Ginny."
"Want to go to the beach Ginny?" Hermione asked, closing her book. (SHOCKER!)
"Definitely!" They quickly left, and got on their brooms.
"This way, my friends and I have a secret hideout over here." Hermione said, leading Ginny to a more secluded part of the beach. They landed near a large rock.
