Sakura wrinkled her nose at the sight of (what Kabuto called) the 'Clinic'.

"I seriously hope," the girl informed him, not looking at him. "That you don't actually try to heal people in here."

"Where else would we?" asked the older medic nin.

"A garbage disposal would be more sanitary than this place." Sakura covered her mouth and nose with her hand. "I expect this place cleaned up by the time I come in here tomorrow."

"I don't follow you orders." Kabuto snapped.

Before the man could even consider blinking, he was thrown across the room.

"Start following them." the rosette hissed. "Sasuke didn't bring me here because I'm pretty. Orochimaru-sama isn't keeping me here because of that, either. Now get cleaning. I have other things to do."

"Y-yes." Kabuto gasped. He was totally winded and was almost certain at least two of his ribs were broken.

"Good."

"There is one condition pertaining to us allowing you to stay, my little Blossom." Orochimaru said, leaning forwards with a smirk on his face.

"The Heaven Seal." droned the girl. "Correct?"

"Yes." Orochimaru was slightly surprised. This child was the opposite of the way Sasuke described her.

"Whatever." she flipped her hair out of her face. She no longer wore her Konoha headband to hold it in place. "Get it over with."

"You will never again be able to return to Konoha as a citizen." he warned.

He wasn't trying to lose a potentially useful Kunoichi, but this girl needed to know what she was getting in to.

"Dear Orochimaru." Sakura's voice had a scary edge to it. This was the girl who threw Kabuto across the room without thinking or breaking a sweat. "If I wanted to return to a village that no longer held anything for me, I would never have left."

"Well then!" the man clapped. "Sasuke-kun! Prepare to catch Sakura-chan and take her back to your quarters when this is over."

"My room, Uchiha." said the girl icily. Sasuke was amazed at how much the girl had changed in the forty-eight hours they'd been at the base. "I don't need babysitting."

"Sakura-" Sasuke started.

"I know how your gaining of the curse mark went." she interrupted. "But unlike you, I want this and am prepared for it. I'm not you, Uchiha."

"No, your much scarier." muttered a voice behind them. Sakura had no need to turn and look at Kabuto.

"Orochimaru may see you opinion as valuable," Sakura stated. "But I don't. Shut up."

"Now, Sakura..." chided Orochimaru. "Be kind to your superiors."

"I will when I meet some." the girl ground out. "Are we doing this? Because I have another request I could fill..."

"Oh?" Kabuto sounded interested. "And what would that be?"

"The Akataskui believe I would make a valuable asset to their organization." Sakura sent Sasuke a scary smile. "In fact, Itachi-san and Fish-chan gave me the invitation in person."

"What use do they have for whiney kunoichi?" asked Sasuke with a scoff.

"What use does Orochimaru have for a boy who's own brother didn't think was worth killing?" With every word, her smile grew. "You couldn't even beat Naruto. I mean, my god. Pathetic much?"

"Shut up!" Sasuke snapped. He hated being reminded of his failures.

"Times up." stated Sakura, turning away from Sasuke. "If you'll excuse me, I have somewhere to be. Somewhere with people who have made real names for themselves."

"You will regret this, Sakura-chan!" Orochimaru called after her retreating back.

The last thing they heard was her laughter, before all was silent.
