Author's note: I wanted to just say that I apologize for not continuing my other stories. Right after I posted them, I went through a break up and just didn't feel like writing for a while. I think I'll get right back on them shortly though!

Also, I've gotten annoyed with Beck not really being the greatest boyfriend whenever something happens to Jade—like having a creep in her house or her getting injured, so for some reason that annoyance created this little thing. Hope you enjoy!

Robbie's a sweetboy, the innocent bystander—her boyfriend. Thing is, his puppet, Rex, is a villian. She would go on and describe it, but it's just too scary. And Cat's not a fan of scary. Anyway Rex is Robbie, and Robbie is Rex. And just like in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Rex began to take over completely as time passed. Jade had been the first to notice; she'd warned her and the group, but only Tori was the one that listened and kept an watchful eye on Robbie.

With every villian, there's a hero.

And that's Tori. No, she's her superhero. With like, a bright red, magical cape and the strength of a thousand men. No, purple cape! It's way prettier. Oh, and it's still totally magical. And instead of the strength of a thousand men, she has the courage and compassion and—and determination of a bajillion, trillion lion cubs. A bajillion, trillion Simbas!

Yeah, that's Tori. At least, that's how Cat sees her. Because Tori? Tori saved her tonight. She even broke down Robbie's door to get to her; swooped right in and protected her from a forceful, angry boy that was supposed to be their friend.

But sometimes, even the super and heroes and the awesomely combined can get hurt from their rescue. Tori hadn't moved quick enough to avoid the lamp aimed at her head. But somehow, even with a nasty cut under her eye, she'd gotten right back up and just took Robbie down, which prevented things Cat's not comfortable even thinking about.

"You're okay," Tori had said as they ran out of the apartment.

And she is, Cat thinks, sitting on her couch with a police officer. The man is asking her questions and she's trying to answer as best as she can, but a pained hiss gets her attention. She looks over to the kitchen, watching Jade tend to Tori's wound with a wet wash cloth.

"Don't be a baby, Vega," Jade says sharply.

But Cat sees the gentleness and care that Jade's putting in her touch, and she notices the way Jade's other hand is brushing up and down Tori's arm. She also see the way Jade's eyes are soft and worried.

Cat smiles.

Tori is Cat's superhero.

And from the way Jade's looking at Tori, she thinks Tori might just be Jade's knight and shining armor. With great hair. And awesome cheekbones.

Not that Cat's saying Jade is a damsel a distress—because Jade would kill her for that. But every girl wants be in love with a knight and shining armor, right?

"Poor Beck," Cat says, without thinking.

"Sorry?" the officer responds.

"Oh." Cat shakes her and turns back to the officer. "Nothing, sir. Anyway, you were saying?"
