What's rule #1?

Murtagh paced the room. Tornac was sitting in the chair by the desk. He seemed so calm. Murtagh had no idea, of how long he had been pacing the room. His mind was running, his head spinning with worst-case-scenarios. He sat down on the bed, and hopelessly covered his face with his hands.

Murtagh heard Tornac get up. And then, Murtagh let out a small chuckle. He looked up at Tornac, and at the hand Tornac was reaching out.

"Dance with me" Murtagh smiled and took the hand.

"You don't think it's cheeky at all?" Tornac smiled as they swayed to the slow start of the song.

"Billy Joel is never cheeky." Tornac looked completely convinced, as they danced around the little hotel room.

" ''Just the way you are'' though? Really?" As the song sped up a little, they parted slightly, and started a cute little dance, well, Tornac was dancing, while Murtagh was just awkwardly swaying along.

Torrance twirled Murtagh around , as he quietly sang along.

"I took the good times, I'll take the bad times" Murtagh twirled into Tornac as he kept singing.

"I'll take you just the way you are!" Murtagh playfully slapped Tornacs chest.

They were very close.

Very close.

With his hand on Tornacs chest, Murtagh looked up, into his warm brown eyes.

As Murtagh leaned in a little, he felt Tornacs breath against his lips.

There wasn't half an inch between their lips.

The door to the hotel room burst open.

"Murtagh!" I groaned and rolled over, burying my face in the pillow. Gotta protect my eyes from the light, y'know.

"Mutagh!" I groaned again, louder this time. Then I sat up in my bed. I've been told, that my morning-face is very scary. At that moment, I felt like it was. I glanced at the clock on my wall. 6:AM.

"Eragon-" I said as I turned my head towards him.

"You better have a good reason to wake me up at this ungodly hour" Eragon flinched.

"Or I will kill you." Eragon gulped.

"Slowly" I added in a whisper.

Eragon straightened his back, and spoke up, his voice not revealing the fear inside him.

For afraid he was.

I'm sure.

I mean, I don't do 'empty threats' so… He was probably just about to shit his pants. Because that is how scary I am.

"Murtagh, Thorn has big news" Eragon was smirking, and I felt very uneasy at that. At that moment, Thorn squeezed past Eragon through my bedroom-door.

"Damn straight I do!" Thor went over to my bed, and stuck his hand up my face. His hand.

"Thorn-" I sighed.

"Please don't tell me you got a manicure?" I looked up at him, with upgiving eyes. He started wiggling his fingers.

"The ring, Murtgah!" I focused my sleepy eyes, and all of a sudden, they felt very big.

"Thorn, is that-?" He nodded. I stood up, unsure what to do.

"You asked her?" Thorn laughed,

"It's a funny story actually-" I broke him off with a hug.

"Congratulations!" He hugged me back, before pulling away.

"Wow! Murtagh!?" He faked insult.

"I'm engaged!" I laughed and walked with him to the kitchen, where Eragon was making coffee.

"I still haven't forgiven you for waking me up, if that's what you think!" I accusingly pointed my finger at Thorn. He smirked, and got down on one knee.

"Murtagh Morzansson," He held my hands in his.

"Will you be my best man?"

I couldn't help it.

I said yes.
