You're cold, Cesar, like the machines you build. Are they created in order to keep you from going insane? From all his grief, agony and chaos you've caused not only to yourself but to your brother, your friends, your co-workers, even strangers. How has this not caused you enough guilt to just make you want to punish yourself, someway?

Or wait, maybe you're already enduring it? Just the thought of your only family left, who you care for very much, the thought of him never looking up at you with that same, innocent, admiring grin that was only reserved for his big brother... that must be hell.

But, you don't seem that hurt for someone who was the one to have caused Rex so much pain in the first place? Do you even care? He's put in danger one too many times, and what do you do? You merely give him that same pained expression and tell him to trust you, but how can he? Look at what you've done. He doesn't even know who you are. He's forgotten and replaced not only you, but now, he's gone and went and gotten a new mommy and daddy. That Doctor and that Agent. How has it not killed you at the thought of him disregarding your beloved mother and father so easily? And it's all because of you.
My God, do you even care?

Look at you, just working on those freezing and clunky inventions of yours. Your only joy in life.

What's wrong with you?
You're a heartless monster who could care less! Do you even care, Cesar Salazar? Does none of this affect you?

Look at Rex! He gone through so much with little of his questions answered which YOU were supposed to provide him with! Big bro Cesar to the rescue, coming to save his hermano from hurt.

Look at Meechum! This entire Nanite Event has put his precious daughter in peril SEVERAL times! I'm sure he appreciates that, thank you Cesar.

Look at Rylander! He's not even a man anymore. He's trapped in that glass case, not even human. He can't hold his loved ones. He can't experience true human feelings and don't think I mean emotions. He literally can't feel the relieving rain shower his head, the warm sun on his skin, the wind blowing in his face. He can't feel all because of this Nanite Event business. He can't be human because of you.

You couldn't even save your parents.
Your brother's an orphan because of you.
And those were just a puny fraction of the ones whose lives you've ruined.

PEOPLE DIED BECAUSE OF YOU.

How ironic when society calls Rex the monster, and the real one is hiding in his lab behind the metal deathtraps he invents.

You're cold, Cesar, like the machines you build.

Hi~ This was a random little blurb o' mine. I love the Generator Rex series and fandom, and I wanted to contribute!
Something that is not discussed enough is how the Nanite Event really destroyed a lot of things. Sure, we talk about it occasionally but have we really taken the time to confront the guy said to have caused it all if not indirectly? I mean, I love Cesar as he's my favorite character, but he has a lot to be sorry for. Yes, his decision was for the greater good, but it still did plenty of damage. I just would really kill to see somebody take the time to say something like this to him. I want to know he feels at least a little bit of guilt. I mean, it did technically kill his parents. I don't know... /

Anyways, thanks for skimming~! It means a lot! Constructive criticism is always welcomed.
