Chapter 1

A teenage girl and a two-year old infant left the plane at Melbourne International Airport and went to collect their baggage at baggage claim.

They were here to watch their older brother play during the U-17 World Cup tournament in Victoria, Australia. The teenage girl's name was Hana Byodoin. Her older brother was Hoo Byodoin, the captain of Japan's U-17 tennis team. He was in for a big surprise.

She met up with Ralph Reinhardt, the captain of the USA U-17 tennis team. Both Hana and Ralph were close friends. They both practiced and participated in the US Open in the junior circuit. She won the Girls trophy and he won the boy's trophy. They would practice together but never played against each other.

After leaving the airport, Ralph drove Hana to the stadium. There she met up with other tennis players: the German captain, Volk Borisovich Volk and Strategist QP; the Swiss Captain, Amadeus; the French captain, Leopold Camus de Charpentier; and Spanish player, Medanore. All of them have a special friendship with Hana.

Hoo Bydoin has travelled the world in his middle school years playing tennis. Hana had accompanied him on these trips. That is how she met these players. Hana met the two Germans when she went to Germany and was harassed by other Germans. She was rescued by those two and they have practice playing tennis with each other during her stay in Germany with her bother.

Hana met Amadeus when he came to Japan two years ago to settle a score he had with her older brother. Leopold knew Hana because they share the same birthday. They first met two years ago when the U-17 World Cup was held in Paris, France. When they both realized they shared the same birthday, he would take her out to dinner and she bought him a racket to which he uses to this day.

Hana met Medanore when he suffered an injury. It was through her persuasion that he underwent successful surgery and rehabilitation to play tennis again.

Hana came in time to the U-17 to watch the tournament with her infant sister. She missed the Group League but she made it in time to watch the round of 16. As she knew Germany, Switzerland, France, Spain, and USA to win their first round matches, she decided to sit in Spain's match against China.

She expected the quarter-finals matchup to look like this:

Spain vs Russia

USA vs Switzerland

France vs Japan

Canada vs Germany

Spain had no problem with China. Spain was on the verge of defeating China. They won two sets already and was 5-0 40-0 in the third set. Frustrated, the Chinese captain smashed a tennis ball to Hana's ankle. Medanore and all of Spain witnessed this. This pissed Medanore so much that he showed absolutely no mercy to China's captain for the match point.

When the match ended and China's captain was reprimanded. Medanore carried an injured Hana with her infant sister, to get bandaged.

Medanore decided to help Hana anytime she needed it. Because it was an emergency, Hana needed to see her older brother Hoo. Hana decided to ask Medanore if he could carry her to Japan's dorm room.

There, he knocked on the door. The two year old girl yelled "HELP! HELP!" Japan let the little girl in and saw the Spanish player carrying an injured teenage girl.

Hoo immediately recognized his younger sister and helped her onto the sofa. He stared at the little girl and asked who she was. Instead of answering him immediately, Hana asked her brother to show her who Kazuya Tokugawa was. She had news for both of them.

"So you are Kazuya Tokugawa?" Hana asked him.

He nodded.

Hana introduced the infant child to both of them. "Hoo. Kazuya. This is Himi Tokugawa Byodoin, your infant half-sister.

Both Kazuya and Hoo's eyes widened.

"Her father is our father, Hoo. Her mother is your mother, Kazuya."

Both of them slowly nodded.
