Authors Note - So I watched Jurassic World the other day and absolutely loved it glad they made another one since I'm a huge fan of the Jurassic movies franchise. I had got this idea after watching it and made this story but soon fell off with it, as I didn't believe I was doing to well with it and could actually do better. A lot of it was cringey and just badly written to me and since I feel, that I have grown A LOT as a writer, I'm gonna give it another shot and RE-WRITE and this story. It will be going into a whole different direction but I think people will still like it, the old chapters are completely different and once I'm completely finished with them, NEW ONES, will be added and I can't wait. If this one picks back up (Hopefully) but if it does, then I will be doing the second movie as well but we gotta get through this one first. I also have to see the other movie and catch up on my JP and JW history.

If people like it leave me a review, fav, follow and all that stuff. I will take all kinds of criticism that comes my way, just don't be to mean. This takes place a month before the Indominus Rex incident, but on to chapter one!

Chapter One- Ava

Flashback

Hannah pulls her car up in the alley of the large glass building. She angrily puts the car in park and gets out in a rush, she quickly ran to the back door and bangs on it.

"It's me! Open up!" Hannah slams her hands down. "Open the door!"

The door yanks open, a younger caucasian guy with short black hair, pops his head out.

"Would you be more quiet!" He scolds her in a hush whisper. "Are you trying to kill us?"

"Move Jay!" Hannah runs past him. "Where is she?"

Jay runs next to her. "On the third floor. I called you back as soon as something was wrong. Wait, wait, wait a second!" He yanks her off to the side behind the wall.

"What is your-!" Hannah was stopped when he clamped his hand over her mouth.

A couple of secuirty guys walked through with some scientist in lab coats.

Jay peaks out, he drops his hand with a sigh when he saw them go around the corner. "That was close." He looks back to her. "I don't wanna tell you I was right about any of this right now. But I was right."

"Okay, okay!" Hannah agrees in a hush. "You were right and I was wrong! I shouldn't have listened to him but you have to know...I had no choice." Jay eyes softened from the pain shown through Hannah's green eyes. "It was the only way. But now my only way backfired and if I don't get her back J-Jay, I don't know-"

"Whoa, whoa, shh." Jay puts both hands on her shoulders. "We're all gonna be fine. Sam had a meeting with some guy and was called away. Ava is safe, and she is gonna be okay, after we get you two out of here. Now come on."

Hannah nods in agreement and quickly follows Jay, the two of them took the elevator up. They walked down the hall and down to the secluded room that was shut by two big metal double doors that had a security system attached to it.

Jay takes a different key card out his pocket and swipes it.

"Why didn't you use yours?" Hannah points.

Jay heavily sighs. "Chris restricted certain people out. I had to get this the illegal way, unfornatley."

"Son of a bitch." Hannah frowns deeply with a headshake. "I swear he has a lot to answer for." Her fist tightened at her side in anger. "I can't believe this crap and I was so stupid."

"No." Jay shakes his head, the lights on the door scanned to green and mannauly opened. "You were being a mother and he tried to take advantage of that. He is definitely, a son of a bitch. All of them are, for wanting to go through with any of this." He motioned her to go in. "Come on."

Hannah ran inside, Jay made sure to pull the doors close behind them.

Jay quickly run to the computer and starts typing away. "Okay, I'm making copies of her report and sending the stuff for her medicine over to my cousin. Once you find him you guys are gonna be well taken care of."

"What about you?" Hannah turns back and looks at her friend. "Your coming and staying with us right?"

"Would look to suspicious." Jay shakes his head. "I'll find my own way out of this but I'm not my concern. So don't question it. Lets just got get her."

Hannah sadly nods. "Okay." She turns around and runs over to where the lab and monitors were setup and attached to a person. Her steps slowed as she saw the little four year old girl, laid fast asleep on one of the beds with the lab lights focused down on her. She makes her way over and stoops down, Hannah rubs the side of her head. "Why does she look so pale?"

"The medicine is not in her yet." Jay answers. "Chris wanted them to take her off her supply to see what different reaction her body would have to it." Hannah looks back at him in concern. "As long as she is breathing, she is fine. Trust me, I been watching her to make sure of it since they left this room. Granted it was only twenty minutes until you showed but still."

Hannah slowly turns her head back around, she runs her fingers through her childs dark brown hair that was slightly streaked with a little silver and blue streak. Her skin tone was usually white and tanned but her body was taking a pale color due to her medicine not being in her system.

The flicker of the child eyes had got her mothers attention. Hannah leans back to see dark blue eyes staring back at her but the childs blue eyes held a hint of green to them, though it wasn't noticeable from afar, it was once close.

Hannah felt a clenching feeling in her stomach. "Do you remember me Av?" Hannah questions.

"Mommy?" Ava's weak voice spoke.

"That's my girl." Hannah smiles in relief, she sucks back up her tears and rubs her head. "Did they hurt you, when I left? Did anybody do something?"

"No." Ava slowly shakes her head. "Why, was someone supposed to?"

"No." Hannah quickly objects. "I was just checking."

"I don't feel to good." Ava held her chest.

"Don't worry, we are gonna go to one of uncle Jay friends that is gonna fix that once we get you out of here. Okay?" Hannah helps sit her up. "No more testing. No nothing, it's over."

"Really?" Ava's eyes showed a little hint of joy in them but she frowns when something came to mind. "I thought Chris said we have a lot more to do though and that he was gonna take me to DC tonight. He told me-" Ava clenches the pillow. "that I would barely recognize you when this was over."

"None of that is true and no he isn't taking you anywhere." Hannah holds her shoulders and looks her eye to eye. "Listen to me Ava, Chris isn't the guy that we think he is and I need you to stay away from him. But right now it's gonna be my job to get you away from him and away from this place forever. You've done enough and so have they."

Ava head tilts to give her a look that reminded Hannah so much of Ava's father when she did that.

"Did I do something?" Ava asks.

"No sweetheart, this was all on me." Hannah admits with tears. "I put you in this and I'm gonna see you out. No matter what happens in the future, I did what I had to because I wanted you to stay alive so bad. So please...no matter what you think in the future, I just wanted to know the child I was finally given. I never wanted to hurt you."

"I know." Ava smiles. "You love me."

"More then anyone." Hannah giggles in between soft sniffles. "That's why I am not gonna let another person hurt you. Like I said before, this is over. So, are you ready to spend your days outside and not locked in here half the time?"

"Yeah." Ava giggles.

Hannah hugs her. "That's my brave girl."

Jay curses. "Shit!" Hannah looks back. "The codes."

"What?" Hannah looks over her shoulder. "What's wrong?"

"Chris locked the files to her medicine from his computer. I can't get to them from this, it kicked me straight out." Jay shook his head. "It's a certain formula you have to put together but I can't get to them unless I-"

"Give me the key card." Hannah stands up. "Stay right there Av." She walks over to him. "Take Ava. I'm gonna go sneak in his office and get them."

"Bad idea." Jay didn't like it. "They were trying to take her without you knowing. Red flags are gonna go off once Chris sees you since you weren't supposed to be back until after he left."

"I'll be in and out before Chris or anyone knows it's me." Hannah snatches it from him. "Take her to the car and keep it ready to go. I'll be out there, I promise."

"And what if your not?" Jay questions.

"Then you take her somewhere safe and call my sister. Got it?" Hannah points backing up, she looks at her daughter. "Let Jay take you to the car, okay? I'll be right behind you," She saw Ava's scared look and gave her a brave smile. "I'm not leaving you again Ava so don't worry. I promise I'm not going anywhere, okay? Just go with uncle Jay." Hannah runs out.

"Okay." Ava watches her leave. Jay puts his backpack on and runs over to her. Ava eyes grew tired with exhaustion as she was slowly slipping back to sleep, her body falls over but he caught her. "My head hurts..." Her voice came out in a mumble.

"I'm sorry kiddo, we're gonna fix this." Jay feels her head and she was starting to break out in a cold sweat. "I know you're hurting..." He rubs her back and covers her up with a blanket before he picks her up. "Lets get you the hell out of here." He pats her back and makes a run for the door. "Stay with me for a little longer Av, stay with me." Jay goes through the doors and hurries down the hall.

Hannah walks off the elevator and makes quick haste to Chris Lockwoods office. She made sure nobody else was around before she slipped inside and quickly went to the computer, she puts in the password and locks in the flash drive to the side. After typing for a minute she found what she was looking for and started to download the data she needed.

Her eyes caught a glimpse of something on the desk, Hannah picks them up as her eyes scanned them over. Slowly her eyes started to widen in horror at what she was reading about, she looked back to the computer when it was done and saw another file that read, 'Project 7A'.

"Why would this be mixed in with Ava's?" Hannah mumbles, she clicks the download button before going through the file herself. "Dr. Wu? What in the hell is Isla Sorna and who is Ingen? What is..." She continued to read on about the report. "No...no." The answers staring her in her face made the guilt in her stomach grow as tears pricked her vision. "My God... Ava."

The door opens up, a lean built man with shaggy brown hair, wearing a suit, walks inside talking too two associates.

"That is why we-" He stops, Hannah glares up at him. "Hannah?" The man was shocked to see her, he nervously chuckles. "I thought you weren't supposed to be back until later on tonight?" He gave his two informants a quick glare making them shrink back, he changes his expression into a smile and looks back at her. "Listen, Ava is still sleeping and is in good ha-"

"Cut the crap." Hannah stops him. "I heard enough of it Chris and I'm not gonna hear anymore of it from you. It's over."

Chris looks carefully at where she was and was starting to put two and two together. "Well now, what are you doing on my computer?" She says nothing and continued to glare at him. "...Who opened their mouth?" His lips formed a thin frown.

"None of your business of who." Hannah voice was cold. "How could you do this?" She slowly shakes her head. "Do you have any idea what the hell you're doing to her?!"

"What I'm doing to her?" Chris repeats shocked, he fake laughs. "Oh no, sweetheart you are very much to blame and so is my old man. Both of those old men could have latched on to something great but of course they didn't because they were friends. The only thing is that an adorable friendship doesn't bring in the money or make history."

"Make history?" Hannah looks at him crazy, she grips the papers in frustration. "This is my daughters life you're playing with! Does that mean anything you sick bastard?"

"A life that you played with first! So who's the sick one?" Chris points. "What? Now all of a sudden you think you can back out of this now? Hannah do you not realize how much money is in that child how much of my money is in her? A child that you created worth millions because of me. She is the biggest thing you could ever have and again it's because of me." Hannah slowly shakes her head at him. "I got what I wanted and you got to play mommy for a couple of years. So what's the problem? You said it yourself that her father was gone and you had no one to help you. I was the one basically taking care of the two of you. I gave you both everything and all I asked for in return was for you to listen to what I tell you."

"You really are sick." Hannah stares at him with a frown. "You were seriously gonna walk out of here and take my daughter with you?"

Chris shrugs with a slight laugh. "Would both of you give me and Hannah a minute please?" He says back to his two scientist. "Close the door behind us and go check on Ava for me as well." They both nodded and wasted no time leaving them there. Chris looks back to Hannah who glare who went away from the two that left and focused back on him. "Don't give me that look. I was gonna take Ava to see my father, I told him a lot about her and he wanted to finally see what I accomplished and he is still going to. See I kinda like to think Ava became ours after a certain point and once you signed your name on that dotted line years ago, she did."

"That's bull shit and you know it." Hannah spats.

"You say it is but a lawyer would say otherwise. Reading is fundamental Hannah." Chris smirks. "Don't think she is just some dollar signs to me. I honestly care about her, that is the main reason I chose her to do this work on. She is almost like a daughter to me."

"The hell she is, you are not and never will be her damn father. I sign some papers and you think you got some little claim over my daughter?" Chris gives her a look. "Ava is mine." She says firmly. "That is my daughter and I'll be damned if you are taking her from me. So you better tell that father of yours that there has been a change of plans because we are done. I'm not doing this to her anymore, no more tests, nothing. This is not something I should have ever did to her in the first place-"

"But you did!" Chris raised his voice but kept his calm stance. "You think she can really survive without us? Without me?" Me and my team saved your daughter, you would be wise to remember that! You wouldn't have that little brat if it wasn't for me."

"You don't care about her, you are hurting her with trying to turn her into whatever the hell this is." Hannah flashes the papers. "What the hell is Ingen and why is it apart of Ava's codes and reports? Who are they and who is Dr. Wu? Why is he sending you so much information about her or even knows who she is?"

Chris smiles. "I don't know. Words get around, I told you before...that child is a lot of money." He takes slow steps across the room. "I'll tell you more about it if you agree to stay with me. By the way this is a yes or no for you and yourself, Ava's choices aren't set to be made by you anymore." Hannah looks at him like he had completely lost his mind. "They are made by me."

"You smug son of a-" Hannah was cut off by the alarm going off.

Security ran pass to make their way towards the source, along with the doctors.

'Code J, project ALG is out' The voice system goes off. "I repeat, Project ALG is out'

Chris eyes widened, he snaps his glare back at Hannah. "You little-where is she?" Hannah snatches the drive out the computer when it completed. Chris did a double take at this motion and points to the drive. "What is that? What did you take?"

"Exactly what I need and my proof of whatever is really going on here." Hannah holds it tightly.

Chris points to her hands. "Give me that back Hannah."

"Not a chance." Hannah glares daggers at him. "You're not getting this or her."

Chris ran around the desk, Hannah went to jump over but he grabbed her back in headlock and threw her over the other side. Hannah was flung back into the glass wall, the force of her body made a small crack, she fell down on the floor in front of his feet.

"I kept your kid alive! And this the thanks I get from you huh?!" Chris picks her up by the hair despite her fighting back, his grip makes her cry out in pain. "If I go down then so are you!" He grips her chin and makes her look up at him. "That kid is a million dollar project and if she goes then some big people are not gonna be happy, and I refuse to mess that up because her mom is having second thoughts."

"She doesn't want to do this Chris!" Hannah coughs. "Please, she-"

"She?!" Chris yanks her harder, Hannah cries out. "She doesn't even know what or who she is and I bet after that last shot they cooked up, when she wakes back up she will not even know who anyone is! Once that happens you will love the things coming in store with her instinct." Hannah caught those words as the worse thoughts creeped in. "If anything Hannah. You didn't make her...I did"

Hannah frowns and stomps on his foot making him retract his hand, she elbowed him in his stomach and pushes him back. Chris launches at her, Hannah kneed him in the stomach, she hooks her arm under his with a twist and slams him face down, cracking the glass desk.

Chris cried out in pain as he held his arm that now was broken. "Bitch!"

"Like I said earlier, she's mine." Hannah snatches the drive off the floor, she gathered up all the files that she could and runs out of the room as the sound of Chris yelling in pain could be heard with the blaring alarm going off.

Downstairs...

Jay impatiently looks at the building as he could hear the alarms going off from inside. He didn't know what had happened but while he was buckling Ava in the back he had heard the alarms blare off knew that meant they found out that Ava was gone.

A hand slams on the window, Jay shouts but saw Hannah and quickly opens it and lets her in the back seat with Ava.

"What the hell is going on?" Jay asks.

"No time! Go!" Hannah rushes.

Jay starts the car and slams his foot on the gas. It took off down the street of the alley, he drove as quickly and safely as he could away from the area.

"What happened, did you get the information for her meds?" Jay asks.

"Yeah, I ran into Chris while doing so." Hannah shakes her head. "But I dealt with him."

"What, how did you do that?" Jay questions.

Hannah pulled Ava in her lap and starts to check her over. "Broke his arm."

Jay makes a face and shakes his head. "Can't say he never had it coming...and ouch." Hannah sighs as she slides down in the seat in relief holding onto Ava. "Everything is there, right?"

"All here." Hannah holds up the drive. "But I got more..."

"More?" Jay brows furrow. "What more?"

"More as in I think all of this goes deeper then we think more." Hannah looks down at her child with concern as the pain was written on her face. "More that could still be all my fault."

"Who does it involve?" Jay glances back.

Hannah slowly looks up. "Everyone," Jay was confused. "I need you to answer something for me." He nods his head. "You do all the work in the other lab when it comes to the groundwork for different islands and it's findings in plants and animals."

Jay nods his head. "Yeah,"

Hannah stare grew serious. "What is Isla Sorna..."

Six years later...

"So that pretty much sums up everything? Any parting words?" Ms. Graves asks the six grade class. "Last day of school and nobody has anything?" Her eyes found the little girl who's attention was out the window. "Ava?" The room stayed quiet as the child had heard her but didn't respond. "Ava Grady." Her voice came out a little louder.

Ava snaps her big blue eyes from window in shock. "Y-Yes mam, I'm sorry."

"Anything you want to say?" She asks.

Ava quickly shakes her head. "Mmm-mm! No."

"Okay." Ms. Graves was amused. The last bell sounded out as her class was beyond excited. Ava sighs in relief at the bell and starts to gather her stuff into her brown satchel bag that was decorated with little trinkets. "I hope to see you all next year too." She chuckles. "Enjoy your summer vacation you all! And please stay out of trouble."

It was finally the last day of school and the start of the summer, the other good thing was she would be in the seventh grade when she came back, which was a plus for her. She loved school but was counting down the years until it was gonna be over for a while.

One of her books slipped off the desk and fell to the floor.

A classmate walks over and picks it up for her, the girl looks at the book weird. "That's a different book to carry around with you. You do know that our trip to that museum was months ago. Why are you still carrying around books on dinosaurs Ava?"

"They just interest me, that's all." Ava shrugs.

"Chloe, come on." Another girl comes over, she gives Ava a weird stare before looking back to her friend. "Why are you talking to her?" She whispers but Ava heard her clear as day.

"It's a free country." Chloe responds in a duh tone.

"Uh-huh." She nods, she looks down at the book and laughs at it. "Dinosaurs? Really? Let me guess, it belongs to you doesn't it Ava?" Chloe smacks her shoulder. "Ouch! What? I was just asking."

"Here you go, Ava." Chloe hands it over.

"Thank you." Ava took it back and puts it away in her bag.

"Have a good summer Ava, I will see you when school starts back up." Chloe waves goodbye and pushed the other girl in front of her.

"Goodbye." Ava waves, she stops when she could still hear them talking.

"That wasn't nice!" Chloe scolds.

The other girl groans. "It's not my fault but she is so weird sometimes."

Ava smirks when she heard the girl hiss from being hit again by her friend. To be able to hear like she could was a blessing and a curse, her mother told her that because of the way she was born that her senses were a little more different then others but not to share that with anyone.

There was a lot of things that her mother told her not to share with anyone, no matter the age, or how long she had grown to trust them. If they weren't her mother then it wasn't okay to talk about it with them.

Ava tucks the strands of her dark brown hair that was left out from her, thick, fish scale braid, that hung over shoulder and stopped past the center of her back. It still had those small streaks of dark blue and silver on both sides of her hair.

After saying goodbye to her teacher and some of the classmates she did talk to, Ava walks outside of the school and had a seat at the normal pick up bench. She was expecting to see her mothers black Nissan outside but it wasn't waiting there for her this time.

Ava makes a face. "That's weird..." Her lips pout together as she looked up and down the street in wonder. "She's never late." She uses her hand as a visor to block the sun and see further down the street but all she could see was the other cars "Really mommy?"

later

A couple of hours had went by, a lot of people, even faculty had gone home. Some of them and even teachers offered her a ride but Ava of course had to say no as she knew her mother wouldn't like that. They didn't live far from the school but her mother never let her really go anywhere without her. Her mothers job was close to the school and so was their home which was why Ava attended that school out of all of them out there

Ava stands up an adjust her bag. "Welp, I can get fussed at when I'm out of this heat." She heads off down the street towards the house. "Out of all days to leave your ten year old out in the heat."

It took a little while but Ava finally reached home, she walks past the garage but noticed her moms car still there and stops. This made the little girl pull a face in confusion, Ava takes out her keys and goes up the steps towards the door but her steps slowed when she saw the door already cracked halfway open.

Ava looks around for any signs of people but her block was always quiet and nobody really knew them personally in the neighborhood. She puts her keys away and slowly opens the door, she quietly walks inside, trying not to make a sound, just in case somebody else was in there.

"Mom?" Ava calls out, she walks inside the living room to see the entire house ripped apart.

It looked like a true tornado had went off inside of it. Furniture was turned upside down, some of it ripped open, glass was thrown down everywhere along with the flat screen on the floor. "Mommy?" A nervous pit grew in her stomach but she didn't let that scare her or make her turn around and run out. "M-" Ava stops when her foot steps on something, she retracts her foot and bends down, she picked up the family picture of her and her mother on her sixth birthday.

Ava keeps it with her as she finishes walking around the house to see what else was damaged. The downstairs was a wreck, and the upstairs was no different. It was a weird thing as both her and her moms room were a mess but her mother's closet was completely empty of all her clothes.

"Why is her closet so empty?" Ava walks out and goes back downstairs, she opens the room to her mothers study that was completely torn through. Papers were thrown everywhere, computer broken apart, book shelf thrown on the floor. She stares around the room in horror as so many things and images came to mind, a certain scent in the room had mad it worse as it smelled like a firearm went off in the room. The only thing that made her feel somewhat at ease is that she didn't see any blood and couldn't smell any of it either.

Ava pulled the picture from her side and stares down at it. "Where are you...?"

Chapter Two- Departure & Arrival
