It had been 5 years since Sarah's adventures in the Labyrinth- and she was miserable. She came home from her waitressing job and dropped her bag in the kitchen. She checked the mail, put the kettle on and swapped her converse for slippers. To anyone on the outside, Sarah was behaving like a perfectly normal 20 year old girl.

But after she finished doing those mundane human things she went to her bedroom and read the Labyrinth obsessively. She missed the place so much. Hoggle, Ludo… him. She knew she made the right decision when she saved Toby, but that choice still haunted her. Everytime she saw a barn owl she prayed it was him, but he never made an appearance.

"Jareth" Sarah murmured, flicking through the pages. Then she had an idea. She had gotten Jareth here before by saying 'I wish the goblins would come take you away right now!' So, what if she said it again, only this time, about herself?

Sarah stood up and said "I wish the goblins would come take me away right now!"

Nothing happened. She didn't even see the barn owl. Sarah rolled her eyes. It had been a long shot anyway. He was probably still furious that Sarah abandoned him.

"Jareth, I know you can hear me! Stop teasing, please. I miss you. Let me see you"

Still nothing. She realised that, knowing Jareth, he was waiting for her to beg. Sarah was far too stubborn for that, so she gave up. She just whispered into the darkness "I love you Jareth"

Suddenly the window flew open and the curtains billowed dauntingly. There Jareth stood, with his long black cloak on. He ran over to Sarah and wrapped her up in his cloak fiercely, embracing her so tight she could barely breathe.

Then, he bent his head down to her ear and whispered "I love you too, Sarah"

He lifted her chin up gently and kissed her.
