A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

STAR WARS

SAGA OF THE THREE FATES

The Galactic Empire has risen, and the Sith rule with an iron fist over the galaxy once more. Emperor Palpatine's vision for a new society emerges from the fog of war, though not all will bow before the new Emperor and his Laws. For these criminals, malcontents, and traitors, a relentless enemy lurks in the shadows to bring them to justice...

Bounty Hunters, the scum of the galaxy, are called upon to bind the hands and claim the heads of those who break the law...for the right price. Roughnecks, cutthroats, and mercenaries, Bounty Hunters are as wicked as the quarry they pursue, and use any and all means to subdue or terminate their targets as dictated by the Contracts they accept.

One Contract in particular has placed a ruthless Trandoshan on the desert world of Tatooine, though the lone bounty hunter finds himself eluded by his prey. Unbeknownst to him, however, his fortune is soon to change in an unexpected way...

What a Hunt this turned out to be...The Sapphire Bandit has evaded me for a week!

A Trandoshan sneered to himself over his half empty glass of dark red honey hued cognac as he sulked in a corner booth in a mood lit speederbiker bar. The din of music filled the cooled air of the venue as several sentients tore up the dance floor to a synthwave track opposite of where he sat.

Fortunately, the locals of the town he was in, Mos Talazi, weren't going to be a threat unlike in the infamous Mos Eisley. In fact, almost no one approached him, and nervous glances and dumbfounded stares were cast at him from those he did encounter.

Besides, a good deal of who he saw were young adults of different species out for a little fun in their otherwise simple lives. He was well outside the norm, and he knew it. One of the inhabitants was different, like him, too. A female Twi'lek, who was both the waitress and only sentient who was sociable with the bounty hunter.

"Another glass?" she asked as she held up a clear bottle filled with more liquor, to which he nodded. "Yes. This is one of the better flavors I've had in the Outer Rim." he growled as he swished an empty glass. "Certainly. Beggar's Cognac is pretty popular, these days." With care, she filled his drink and capped the bottle with a twist. "That will be all." The reptilian spoke with a curt tone. The woman had a look of fascination in her eyes, but nodded and left him to his drink.

Well, I've skip traced, spoke with my contacts, everything...and still, she remains free. The bounty hunter studied his surroundings as he pondered his situation. There's gotta be a lucky break, soon...I'll scour the Jundland Wastes if I have to!
