This is extremely short but I somehow wrote it after joking with my friend about Haru's love for water. This is hastily done but I'd like to know what you think. Enjoy!~

The sun slowly set over the ocean, orange rays creating a war and peaceful atmosphere among the waves and cooling sand. A boy sat in the water that came and recoiled with the waves. To passersby, he looked as though he were waiting or watching the sunset. To those close, he seemed to be talking.

The boy spoke," Why must you reject me? Your icy touch chills me, you're binding me to this prison." No response.

The boy traced his fingers over the sand, creating little drawing before they melted away into themselves. He looked over the water, almost sad. He spoke again, "Don't you love me? I'm always here for you." Again, no response.

The boy sighed, lying down to stare at the sky. Waves crashed, birds squawked, he kept playing with the sand.

Soon the sun set completely, leaving an inkling of light to the darkness of night. The boy stood up and turned back to look at the ocean.

"I love you water." He whispered before walking away towards his home. The waves were his only response.
