This is sort of a (belated) birthday present to Hinata-chan. Good luck Hinata-chan!

Enough is Enough

She had had enough.

She had put up with His crush on Sakura, because she knew that she had no interest in Him. Sure, she worried that one day she might wake up and see Him for who He really is, but she was confident that wouldn't happen.

She had first noticed Sasuke's crush on Him when they returned from their C-rank mission. At first she was a bit alarmed, seeing as He also seemed to be closer to him, but she relaxed once she realized that His feelings were just that of friendship. She wasn't too worried.

She also noticed Kakashi's feelings for Him around that time as well. After some careful observation, though, she determined that he was of no risk and that he seemed to just be associating Him with someone else he had slight feelings for. She doubted he would act on them.

She noticed Kiba's feelings for Him after their fight in the Chunnin exam preliminaries. At first, she thought his behavior meant that he was trying to protect her from Him. However, she soon realized that he was, in fact, being possessive of Him. Her only relief was that he was too shy to act on his feelings.

She noticed Neji's crush after their battle during the Chunnin exam finals. It was fairly obvious that his feelings sprang from the same source as hers. The difference was, he was bolder than she was. If not for her confidence that He wasn't gay, she would have rated him number one on her list of rivals.

She also saw that Gaara's feelings for Him develop after their fight during the invasion. Luckily, he seemed to be unaware and/or confused by his feelings. Even better, his attention seemed to switch to Lee instead. She happily crossed him off her list of rivals.

She worried that, for a while, Lee might have been interested in Him. She quickly, and happily, determined that this was not so. Besides, Gaara had definitely called dibs.

She knew that Shino, Ino, Shikamaru, Chouji, Tenten and Kankurou showed no interest in Him. She had her suspicions that Shino was asexual. Ino was completely obsessed with Sasuke. Shikamaru and Chouji seemed to be more interested in each other. Kankurou was definitely straight. Tenten had a clear-cut crush on Neji. Kurenai-sensei and Asuma were probably in a relationship together. Gai…well, he was Gai. Nothing else could be said. She cheerfully crossed them off her list.

She had, initially, crossed Temari off her list. She was positive that she had no interest in Him. Actually, she suspected her of being a lesbian. Unfortunately, she had just observed proof of the contrary. Temari hit on Him. It completely flew over His head of course (He was adorably oblivious), but she knew it could not stay that way forever. After all, Temari was bold enough to make the moves and was certainly prettier than Sakura. No, Temari was clearly her biggest rival. If she didn't make her move now, she might lose Him forever. And she couldn't let that happen.

Hinata had had enough.
