It has been stated by all of the sentient beings in the galaxy that the Zerg have no free will, no ability to choose individually. They all say this is a terrible trait to behold, but ask yourself this; is it not the Zerg who triumphed in the end? Was it not their untainted will to bring the galaxy under their sway? Possibly the Zerg emerged victorious because they have no worry or hesitation about the task at hand. The order is given, and they proceed to complete it. The Protoss's ultimate weakness is that their race is torn between Darkness and the Light. High Templar, and Dark Templar. A side must be chosen. In the heat of battle, a Zealot asks himself, "By completing this task, am I betraying the Light and following a path to Darkness?" This Zealot worries himself about where his actions will lead him. Four Zerglings approach the Zealot. As he worries about distant choices, the Zerglings' only intention is that of their master; combine the Purity of Essence with the Purity of Form. In other words, to consume the Protoss. The Zerglings do not and cannot worry or dwell on any other matter except to kill the Zealot. Therefor, they fight with an unmatched feeling of ambition. They cannot lose this fight. As any being knows, the Zerg hold their strength within numbers. Few know Zerg hold strength in their inability to feel neither sorrow nor hate for their foes. Along with the indomitable will of their master to do as he says.

Is it possible that soulless beings are not inferior to beings that can feel love, sorrow, and hate? Once more I ask...Is it not the Zerg who triumphed in the end?
