Authors Note: This is a prequel to my story entitled La Push, this is the first time that Trey met Embry.
Trey moved to the small town of La Push, so he could get away from his abusive father. He moved to place where he knew no one would know his name. He had only told one person that he was going to leave, and he knew that they wouldn't tell anyone. If Trey hadn't moved he knew for sure that he'd be dead by know. Whether it be, by the hands of his father, or by his own hand. He didn't know but he was sure one of the options would have been his own demise. He had never had a very happy home life, whether it be his mother leaving him when he was very young, to live with his alcoholic of a father. Who from the age of seven had abused him physically. In a small section of his brain, Trey thought that this could have been the reason for his mother's leaving, but that didn't mean he felt sorry for her, as she had left him alone, to be hurt the way he was.
When Trey arrived in La Push, it was much smaller than what he had imagined. He knew it wouldn't take him long to get a feel for the place. He lived in about the centre of the small town. He was close to everything, he was close to the school, even though he technically didn't have to go, he had decided that he would continue his studies, just so he could have a chance in life.
The next day it was time for Trey to start school again. Even though the school was small, that didn't mean he wasn't going to get lost pretty quickly. He got to the school, went to the office and got everything he needed. His first class was English, which was one of the classes Trey actually liked. The map wasn't any use, with finding his way around the halls of La Push High. He felt like such a tourist, holding a map to find his way around. Shaking his head to himself he decided he needed to hold his head high and try and look somewhat like he knew what he was doing, just as he started to lift his head high, Trey felt a pain in his head and was suddenly on the ground. When he looked up he realised where the pain had come from. Stupid locker door he thought to himself, hoping whoever's locker he had run into, wouldn't have noticed. He looked around at the three males that were around him, two of them were in fits of laughter and the other one was trying to hold back the laughs while also looking concerned.
"You alright?" The one trying to hold back the laughter.
"Uh... yeah." Trey said, holding his head and trying to stand, but not working too well.
"Here." The marginally hot one said holding out his hand to Trey, which Trey took willingly.
"Thanks." Trey said a bit embarrassed.
"Your new here aren't ya... Well my name's Embry and those two are Quil and Jacob." Embry said shaking Trey's hand.
"Yeah I am and my name's Trey." Trey said.
"Where's your first class, you seem to be a bit lost." Embry said with a smile.
"Uh I've got English in room... 4" Trey said casually trying to keep his voice in check.
"Hey I'm going right by there, I'll show ya where it is." Embry said with a kind smile. Trey was happy that he could have met at least one person who was actually nice, it sort of made up for the fact that he was now alone in this town, with only himself to keep him company.
