A.N Here it is, very quick and lovable as they are the twins.
Class/Club: Potions
Assignment: 7
Prompts used: All of them.
"Yikes!"
Fred yelped as the potion splashed the floor. George leapt away from the cauldron in shock, eyes wide. He stared at the cauldron.
"Fred, back away." George warned.
His twin was getting closer to the potion, which made George become worried and uncomfortable.
"It's alright Georgie, I'll be able to handle this." Fred assured him. "Just-"
The cauldron suddenly exploded, and George was thrown back against the wall. George held onto his head, before looking up to see Fred lying on his back beside the potion.
"Fred!" George called.
His twin didn't move. George crawled over to his brother through the smoke, and dust.
"Fred?" George asked, scared. "Fred. Wake up. Please!"
As if by magic, Fred did wake up. Not in the way George was hoping. Fred grabbed his throat, and began to convulse.
"Bloody-" George stood up, and ran to their storage cabinet.
They had been reckless, not bringing the bezoars of healing potions with them. It was all George's fault.
"Don't worry Freddie." George said shakily, though to comfort himself if anything. "You'll be alright, you'll be fine-you'll-"
As George turned with the bezoar to see his brother, Fred was still. George rushed over and crouched next to his brother.
"No-no-no." George gasped, tears sliding down his cheeks.
He shoved the bezoar in his brother's throat. Fred did not stir. George stared at his brother, eyes watery.
"Fred-no, no, no, no…" George cried, putting his face on Fred's chest, and sobbing. "No…"
When George heard a choking gasp, he sat up and looked at Fred's face. Fred was stirring, then began to sit up, becoming aware of his surroundings.
"Glad you got it on time." Fred laughed before coughing. "Did you honestly think that I, the better looking twin would die?"
He was answered by a tackling hug from his brother, George.
"Don't ever-never ever, ever go near a test potion again." George whispered.
"Okay, Georgie." Fred smiled. "For you."
oOo
"What are we going to call it?" George asked.
The two stared at the potion below them. It was a potion they had been trying to create during the accident. The potion gave the drinker the ability to breath on someone in order to knock them out for a minute. Of course, the breath would only be able to knock someone out once.
"What about Death Breath?" Fred voiced aloud. "After all, it smells like your breath in the morning."
George rolled his eyes.
"Are you kidding? It smells like both of yours!"
Lee Jordan, who had been there for only a few minutes, laughed.
"You're twins, of course you guys are going to have the same breath in the morning."
Fred and George glanced at each other.
"That's it Lee!" Fred exclaimed.
"You're up for Death Breath's public demonstration!" George smirked.
Lee's eyes widened. "What? No, I'm not doing-"
Needless to say, the death breath product was sold out by the end of the week, after fifty of Lee's presentations.
A.N Aw, I love writing out brotherly affection *hugs the twins* you guys are adorable!
