This is my first story from which I write in several POV's, so please tell me how I'm doing. I prefer to stick with just one POV, but for me to be able to tell this story right, I have to use multiple POV's.

Here goes…

Why Me?

Preface

(Renee POV)

I softly cried over Charlie's coffin. He had recently died in a robbery, shot while trying to catch the robbers. I held my arms over my stomach, and my baby girl kicked back. I sometimes wondered if she knew what was going on, because whenever something bad or tough happened, she would become restless, constantly kicking. But she would be out soon enough. I was due to have her any day now, in fact. I walked away from the coffin as they lowered it into the ground, not being able to watch.

I noticed that Billy and Jacob were standing a few yards away, watching. I walked over to them, meaning to thank them for coming, but all I ended up doing was having an emotional breakdown and crying into Jacob's shoulder while Billy rubbed my back in small, circular movements. When I turned around, I saw several men rolling tarps over Charlie's Casket to keep it clean from the dirt.

It was too much for me to handle. I collapsed, having fainted at the sight.

(Billy POV)

I watched Renee fall, unable to catch her, because of my stupid wheelchair. Damn this thing. But luckily, Jacob was able to catch her before she hit the ground. He looked her over quickly, and told me "it's okay, dad, she just fainted"

Sure enough, a few seconds later, she started to move. As her eyes flung open, she looked at me and asked, what in the world just happened?"

I half smiled, and said "you fainted, Renee"

"Oh," was all she said, before telling us goodbye and walking over to her car which was parked about fifteen tombstones away.

I starred at her as she got inside the car, turned it on, and drove off. I tried to convince myself that she would be able to get home safe, even though she was distracted by what had just happened. I mean she could get home okay, right? Right. Stop worrying yourself, Billy, she'll be just fine.

(Renee POV)

I was driving back to my now empty of life house, attempting to see the road through my tears, when I ran right through a red light. Crashes sounded from all around me, the cars colliding into each other, unable to stop, seeing the crash between me and another van too late. I had just come from a funeral, and had possibly just caused more deaths. Why me?
