"Do you mean to tell me," Sheldon said, "That you will not accept a penalty for breaking the relationship agreement?"

"That's what I said," Amy replied.

"Very well," Sheldon said, "Then I'll need you to sign the end of the relationship clause"

"I'm not going to do that either," Amy said.

Sheldon raised an eyebrow.

"You're being completely unreasonable," Sheldon said, "You lied about being sick-"

"To get you to show me more affection," Amy said, "Sheldon life isn't about contracts and relationship agreements. It's about relationships and I for one am not about to submit to something like that because it's wrong and it's unhealthy for you"

"You sound like my mother," Sheldon remarked.

"Thank you," Amy said.

She knew Sheldon loved his mother very much

"I would suggest that you're the one being unreasonable" Sheldon exclaimed, "You know that's my personality. I'm factual. I'm practical. How can you expect me to change who I am. Trying to do that is like an itch I can't scratch. It drives me crazy. You're expecting too much of me Amy"

"Maybe you have a point," Amy said, "Why don't we compromise?"

"I'm listening," Sheldon said

"We break the relationship agreement but I will respect your boundaries if you try to be more sensitive to my needs?"

"I can accept that," Sheldon said, "How about if I agree to give you a kiss on the hand or the forehead every date night"

"Agreed and I agree to give you your space and tell you when I need something instead of playing games with you"

"Agreed," Sheldon said, "Let's write that up."

"Fine," Amy said, "But no contract."

"No contract at all?"

"You'll just have to trust me and I'll have to trust you. But if we br3eak that trust then we have to apologize."

Sheldon sighed

"Agreed," he said, "We'll try it"
