He was running away through the thick forests of Amity Park. Away from his life, old life from Sam and Tucker, Jazz, and his parents.

'They know, they know and they don't care for me anymore' he continued chanting in his head. Scrapes littered his body from where he fell. His left wrist was covered in the Fenton anti-phantom power bracer. They had shot it at him when he was falling making him power down turning him back into Danny Fenton. He saw the looks of shock and betrayal on their faces. He knew that they didn't want him anymore. The air was cold, colder than the ghost zone if not the same. His breath came out in white puffs he leaned on the trunk of a tall, thick, black wood tree and slid down resting his back against the strong wood. He looked at his wrist watch.

'I can't go home, they'll kill me' he though looking down at the ground littered with patches of snow. He held his quivering body together trying to conserve what little heat he had at the moment.

'I want mom and dad, mom would be making me hot chocolate, and dad would be heating up fudge' he thought as he smiled a little. His quick smile turned into a frown.

'I'll never be able to see them again or Jazz. Not even Tucker or Sam' he looked at the star lit sky above him.

'What am I going to do?' He thought desperately nails digging into his thin blue jeans. He looked out as tiny snowflakes started to float down to earth. He curled up further as a brisk wind snaked through the trees chilling him to the bone. His head snapped up as he heard yelling in the distance from the direction he came.

'Oh no they're coming for me' he screamed at himself. He tried to get up but his quivering limbs wouldn't hold him. He then realized how cold he was and that his body wasn't obeying what his mind told it to do, he managed to look down at his watch.

'I've been sitting here for 2 hours' he thought sluggishly to himself. He then saw a beam of light shot directly past him hitting the trees in front of him. It was quaking like the hand of the person holding the flashlight was shaking violently.

"Danny!" He heard someone shout. He flinched knowing that person was his dad.

'I don't want to die, not yet' he thought to himself. A tear slipped from his eye in fear. It almost froze on his cold skin.

"Danny! Please!" He heard his mother shout. He blinked slowly it sounded like she was or had been crying. His dad's beam of light got closer and closer until he was beside the frozen teen. He heard his slow ragged breathes and turned to his son.

"I found him!" He shouted. Tears burned in his eyes as he approached his son. Danny visibly flinched when his hand went out to ruffle his hair. He pulled his hand back quickly and looked at him with sadness in his eyes. His mom ran up a few seconds later ready to grab him in a hug but his dad stopped her before she got too close. Danny was shivering from the cold and trembling in fear of what his parents could do to experiment on him. He looked at his dad with dulling blue eyes. The silence of the forest was defining suddenly Jack started to speak.

"I'm sorry Danny, I'm sorry for everything, I'm sorry that you thought we didn't love you anymore, I'm sorry that you're hurting because of us, I'm sorry that you're scared of us, I'm sorry that you don't have the parents that I know you deserve, I'm so so sorry," he said looking at his son. He looked at him with confusion gracing his features. Then he put his head on the back of one hand while his other hand gripped his father's jumpsuit. Jack silently took his hand and then picked him up cradling him in his chest. He held him close giving him some of his heat back. They walked slowly back to the RV mostly concentrated on Danny who was still sobbing silently.
