Ashley and Bonnie were sitting at a table in a pizza parlor, catching up with each other. Bonnie senses were overwhelmed with the smell of cooked grease mixed with other toppings. Music filled in where people's conversions fainted. While waiting for their waiter, Ashley talked about how she was having some trouble with her new invention Bonnie gazed around. The parlor was fairly new with somewhat clashing themes. The floor tiles looked broken and uneven to give a nature look to it. The walls seemed over crowed with decorations; with movie posters, major sport teams' themed traffic signs, random pictures of animals and cool moments in nature, and a few knick-knacks on a jungle green background. What's this place called again? Right, TRUE JUNGLE. In the corners were two walls meet were TVs with sport games on. A group of kids were huddled together around an arcade game. Turning her attention back to Ashley, she leaned back her back on the back of the chair. She still couldn't get over how good it felt to lean on the back of a chair. She lost her dragons traits when she let God decided. That included her wings, that was months ago.
"Still can't believe you don't have wings anymore?" Ashley smiled.
"Yea. I kind of miss them, but it is refreshing not having to carry that bag every where and have people stair at me." She admitted.
"Sorry about the wait, first few weeks open and were already a hit. So what can I get ya?" The waiter appeared, pen and notepad ready. He had black hair that was a bit ruffled, with a green baseball cap loosely resting on his head, which had the restaurant's logo on it. A friendly face that was a bit tanned, with striking brown eyes. His shirt matched with the hat to the tee. Bonnie felt she seen him before.
"We'll do a mouse loving cheese pizza." Ashley ordered. Their waiter quickly scribbled down the order. Bonnie couldn't stop staring at him, trying to figure out where she seen him from. Apparently she was staring to hard because his gaze shifted from the paper to her looking a bit uncomfortable.
"Am I forgetting something?" He asked. Bonnie snapped out of her thoughts,
"Sorry, it's just…do I know you?" He seemed relieved and flashed a smile at her.
"Maybe, where in the same history class. Names Dillon Timber, my family and friends just moved here from Colorado. My uncle actually owns the place so I get a job slinging pizzas." Dillon held out an open hand. Bonnie shook feeling silly and awkward. When the Professor died and they lost their dragon traits, they decided to go back to public school since Devin was gone. "Bonnie Sliver and this is my friend Ashley." She introduced, Dillon and Ashley shook hands.
"Friends?" Ashley asked confused. "My parents and my friends' have been working together since before we were born. I guess you could say their like a pack of wolves. Well I better get your order in before my uncle thinks I'm slacking. It's been nice meeting both of you." She watched him walk away.
"He's cute." Ashley blurted out. Bonnie looked at her confused. Seeing her confusion she explained,
"I saw how you looked at him and I don't blame you. He's a good looking guy. I think you have a little crush on him." Bonnie gave her a dumbfound look, but she started to blush. Ashley leaned back in her chair smiling convinced.
