I was looking at my Misty lure. I miss her. I saw she had become the world's greatest Water Pokémon Trainer. I want to see her again. I saw the sun was coming up. I put the lure into my inner jacket pocket over my heart. I got my backpack, put it on. I started walking to Cerulean City. Memories of us played through my mind. I smiled at memories of her. I made it to Cerulean City. I saw the Cerulean Gym. I walked over. I went in. I felt the lure. I exhaled to calm down my heart. I heard splashing. I started for the gym. I saw Misty's Pokémon in the water. The only one that wasn't in the water was Psyduck. Psyduck turned and saw me. "Psy!" It quickly waddled over to me. "Psyduck!" I knelt down in front of it. I smiled.

"Hi, Psyduck."

"Psy, yi yi."

"I missed you too." Psyduck smiled at me.

"Psyduck."

"Psyduck, is Misty here?"

"Psy, Psyduck, Psy." It looked where Misty is.

"Thanks, Psyduck."

"Psy, yi, yi."

I started walking to where Misty is. When I was about halfway, Misty stepped out. She turned and saw me. A look of surprise and happiness appeared on her face. "Ash!" We both rushed to one another. We hugged tightly.

"Misty. I missed you." We looked at one another. I was looking at her. We smiled. I really missed her smile. We kept holding onto one another. "Hi."

"Hi."

"Congratulations on becoming the world's greatest Water Pokémon Trainer."

She smiled shyly. "Thank you." She paused. Her smile got shyer. "I missed you too, Ash. Let's sit down." We parted. We went over to the bench and sat.

"Misty," I began, "I . . ." I paused. I don't what to say or how to start. I ended up saying, "Hi." She smiled. I was looking at her. "I don't know how to start. I was trying to come up with the words when I was coming over here. But the words didn't come to me." She gently touched my chest over my heart.

"Ash, the words should come easy." She felt something there. "What is that?"

"Oh," I pulled out the lure. I showed it to her. "It's your lure."

"You keep it close to your heart?"

"I do." She smiled shyly again. "I missed you, Misty. Every time I look at it, I think about you." We were looking at one another in silence. I looked at our hands; they were a few inches apart. I put my hand on top of hers. We gently held hands. I was looking into her eyes. After all this time we've spent together, I haven't told her how I feel about her. "Misty, I love you."

She looked just as beautiful as ever. "I love you too, Ash." We held hands. She rested her head onto my shoulder. I kissed the top of her head. She gently squeezed my hand. We looked at one another. I saw a beautiful smile on her face. With her is where I'm supposed to be.
