First, I'd like to point out how amazing I think the writers did with the last part of the episode. I took the title from it. 'Bones-The Heart of the Matter'. Ironically amazing.

Second, I'd like to point out that I know this is really ridiculously short and that it's been done before, but I haven't seen this exact angle yet, and I thought I'd write the explanations down as to why I personally think what I think.

Enjoy!

Disclaimer-Belongs to Fox, Kathy Reichs, blah blah blah

I was about a billion percent sure it was Agent Booth. It had to be him. The intense stares, soft touches, and the way we stole glances at her whenever possible. It was him. He knew. He was the one Gordon Wyatt was talking about. He knew he was in love with her.

But that was just it. He knows he is in love with her. I then realized that that is all he knows. He thinks she could never love him. Thinks he's not good enough for her. That's why he's never spelled it out for her. He's not scared that she'll run from love, he's scared that there is no love to run from.

That's why I know now that it is Dr. Brennan who is fully aware of the relationship and connection that they have. I don't know when it happened, and when she realized it was happening, but she knows. She has come to fully understand and accept the fact the she is in love with her partner, and I'm almost positive she knows he loves her back. And you know what else? I think she knows that he thinks he's not good enough. I think she's waiting for him to figure it out before doing anything. She wants him, needs him, to be the one to make the first move.

But, still, she's aware. She knows he'd do anything for her. She knows he'll never leave her.

Which is why I am forced to change my opinion.

'Bones-The Heart of the Matter'

Thanks for reading! Sorry again about the shortness, but it had to be done. Teehee :)
