Lucy was almost sleeping. She was in that sort of dreamlike state between slumber and waking.

She was curled in the fetal position, her pale, pale skin practically glowing in the darkness of the cave. If she had known what Jell-O was, Lucy might have described the substance her egg sack was made of as being just like...Jell-O.

But she did not know what Jell-O was. In fact, the only thing she knew was that she loved the man who sat on the cold stone ground beneath her, waiting for her to be born.

Gray groaned as he was awoken by something dripping on his face. Damn it. Had he fallen asleep under the egg again? He rubbed his face, and then sat up. He looked up at the beautiful creature sleeping above him.

You wouldn't expect the end of the world to have long blonde hair and big breasts, now would you?

Gray stood, smiled at her, and then dipped his cup into one of the many pools. This cave was his home. It had also been his father's, and his grandfathers. The duty of guarding the egg sack had been passed down through generations.

Gray sighed, scratched his bare chest, and then laid back down. It wouldn't be long now.

Lucy was hatching. The egg sack trembled, as she woke, her eyes widening. She screamed silently, and watched as the man below popped up.

His eyes widened with awe, and he cut her free. She fell into his arms in all her nakedness. She shivered, frightened.

The man, Gray, held her close to him. He rocked her back and forth, kissing her slimy forehead, and whispering soothing words. Her eyes opened once more, and now they were blood red. She stood, her legs still shaky. Gray steadied her, a wild grin on his face.

She kissed him, tasting his life. He blinked red eyes, and she smiled with red lips. He grabbed her from behind, holding her, tasting her, claiming her.

Lucy gasped, and screamed, screamed because though she didn't look it, she was just a baby, and he was cold. He stepped back, and took her hand.

"Let's kill this world," Gray whispered.

Lucy kissed his ear, and stomped the ground. The crack led all the way to the core.

And the end began.

And the end ended.

The end.
