"He's awfully handsome, isn't he?" A newly transferred ensign muttered to herself as she starred after the retreating form of Captain James T. Kirk. She felt a hand descend on her shoulder and behind her she heard a snicker. The hand belonged to Nurse Chapel and the snicker to Lieutenant Uhurah, as she found out when she turned around.
"Don't worry about it," the nurse quipped. "it's called the captain Kirk syndrome. It happens to everyone."
