First, a disclaimer. Xiaolin Showdown is owned by Christy Hui and Warner Bros entertainment.

Vamp: I'm fixing a few chapters before I post the new one. It'll just take me a bit, so don't be surprised if things are different or a chapter's missing for a bit.

Again, don't be surprised that Jack is OOC (And thank you Artistatwork94 for pointing out I used the wrong one.) I am taking your comments in the reviews to heart as I edit, and there is a poll that is now in my profile (at least I hope it'd worked) to pick the pairings. If you don't see the one you want there, feel free to review and let me know.

Chapter 1: Jack ain't alright

"JACK SPICER, ARE YOU ALRIGHT?"

Red, unfocused eyes fluttered open slowly. Their owner struggled to sit up, pressing a hand to his temple as the world spun violently around them. Attempting to take in the scene around him only added to the pain.

A drunken giggle slipped out as he attempted to respond.

"No," he drawled weakly. "Can't say I am, large, yellow, talking ball. Can you explain to me how you're talking? Cause I think physics would denote that doesn't work. But then again, everything here's blue, so maybe I'm in a whole new world all together!" the albino said, falling back to the ground.

The pain made him feel breathless. He could hear people tensing as they moved closer to him in the dark mouth of the cave. Rocks partially filled it, though they seemed to leave a perfect semicircle around him. Almost as if they had been moved that way. He let out a goofy giggle.

"Uh…Jack? You feeling alright?" The albino almost rolled his eyes, but the idea gave him enough pain as is. He'd been asked that already, hadn't he?

He lifted himself up and started laughing at the goofy figure before him. It was a bronze-red color, and wavy all over. He could only make out a few features of it, and they were-

"Hey look! a Sufugly man!" he giggled, pointing in the general area of the wavy figure.

He heard the yellow ball, not too far from him. "What is a 'Sufugly'? I have not heard of such a word."

The albino gained an evil smirk, which did not sit well with the people surrounding him, apparently. A few tensed and leaned back slightly.

"A Super Fuckin' Ugly Man!" he cackled, falling back again. His eyes closed in a grimace, and he could hear growling and shuffling, but was feeling too dizzy by this point to care.

"Spicer? What do you see when you look at Om…the bowling ball?"

The albino froze. Something about that voice, so cool and sharp. It made him want to shiver and cringe all at once, though he had no idea why. He felt compelled to do as it asked him, and he looked at the yellow ball once more.

"A yellow ball. With nine holes. OH! Are you a bowling ball?" he smiled, patting the yellow thing. It growled at him and swatted his hand away. "What's wrong lil' Bowling Ball?" he asked.

"My name is Omi!"

The albino nodded sagely, his eyes drifting shut once more.

"I apologize BowlOmi," there was a sigh from somewhere, "Can you help me up?" the red-eyed boy asked, using Omi's head to lift himself up. Omi grunted. As the injured boy tried to get upright, he began to tip over.

"Whoops, ground's moving."

A large arm sot out, pulling him into a block of muscle. He blinked, confused, and found himself eye-to-eye with a rather large cowboy hat. He tapped the end of it, before it pulled back slightly. He grinned lewdly.

"Buffalo Bill or Brokeback?" he asked, and was immediately let go with a hiss. He shook his head and stumbled along before finally getting his stride. He was feeling a bit steadier now. He stopped when a voice called out to him.

"Jack Spicer! You cannot go on your own!"

The boy named Jack turned around, looking about curiously before finally pointing at himself.

"Is that my name?" he asked, confused. "That's a really queer name."

There was a tense silence for a moment before a young girl stepped forward. She had black pigtails and was rather short compared to the rest.

"Y-you…you don't remember?" she asked, almost meekly.

Jack shook his head, running a hand through his hair before pulling back with a hiss of pain. He looked down at his hand and found it coated with blood. His eyes widened in shock.

"What happened to me?"

He curled his bloodstained fingers to his chest protectively, and felt something click under them. He jerked his hand away in surprise as propellers shot from his back.

AUTOPILOT ENGAGED. DESTINATION: HOME.

A robotic voice intoned as the props began to slowly spin. They quickly picked up speed and began lifting him into the air. Jack looked about, startled, before grinning madly. He laughed, amazed by all of this. He could hear people crying out for him, but he quickly shot into the air.

The speed and thinning air made him dizzier, and his eyes began to feel heavy. He couldn't really focus anymore, and felt himself passing out. He wondered who he was and what had happened to him to make him bleed so badly. He…he couldn't remember.

On the ground the monks and Heylin watched the injured teen become a smaller and smaller dot. The monks traded nervous glances at each other, while Wuya tapped her canines with a sharp nail, a nervous habit of hers. Chase Young simply watched silently, his piercings golden eyes never straying from the boy's form

Finally, it was Clay who broke the silence. "Ya recon Jack'll be alright? That rock slide hit 'im pretty hard. He didn't recognize us. Or remember his own name."

There was a moment of silence at the thought. Jack, the most egotistical person on the planet, had not only not recognized the name, but had dismissed it.

Raimundo, still sore from the insult, mumbled before turning to his team. "I don't know. He didn't seem alright." He shook his head, looking back at where the teen had flown off. "We'll check on him later."

He turned to look at Wuya and Chase, only to find them gone. Rai frowned, turning back to the rock slide.

All this for a Wu.

Vamp: First thing, you'll notice there are changes. I've planning them for a while, I just finally got things the way I liked it. I changed some jokes, fixed some parts, so I hope you all like it better now. If not, I apologize, but this is how it has to be. Remember, while I am writing this for all of you to enjoy, first and foremost it's for my enjoyment.
