What do you want?

"Cornelia?" Taranee asked.
"Yes?"
"Why is it that we're gaurdians? Are we going to be gaurdians forever?" Taranee asked.
Cornelia looked down at the ground. She knew that they'd be gaurdians until one of them either left or...or died.
"Until one of us can't be a gaurdian anymore," she whispered.
"Why would the Oracle let this happen?" Taranee asked angrily.
"Because he's not a gaurdian. He's not putting his life on the line. He's not doing any of this! He's just up in Candracar controling everything!" Cornelia spat, "If for once he could be a gaurdian or be down here! If he could see what we have to go through! He doesn't need us!"
"I wish that we didn't have to be gaurdians...but to lose one of us..."
"I know," Cornelia whispered, "I don't want this. I just wish that for once in my life someone would ask me what I want, not just what's best for the universe," Cornelia smirked, "I'm so selfish, aren't I? Putting myself above the universe. Well, I guess it's a sacrifice. Five human lives for the universe."
Cornelia had to go. She walked away.
"It's an unnessacary sacrifice," Taranee said quietly, "They don't need to do this to us. What do you want, Cornelia?"
I absolutley hate the Oracle. If you read the books, you'd know what an he is. He let all this happen! And somehow the gaurdians always forgive him, because he uses some sort of magic or something.
