Many have heard the legends. Most have told stories about the dark place known as the Rainbow Factory. The few workers who have escaped were never in the right state of mind to correctly inform others about the perils in the clouds. One brave pegasus by the name of H8_Seed has escaped the evil and had told every one of the terror that is beyond the weather factory. Since the fall of the factory, it has become none but a legend, myth, and metaphor for parents to use on their misbehaving colts or fillies. The fall of the dark place has brought consequence to the land of Equestria. The population of rainbows has decreased since the instantaneous halt of the harvesting of spectra. Because of this, ex-workers of the factory have banded together to create a secret organization that would that would allow the Rainbow Factory to run again. Soon, the group rose in popularity, raising suspicions among the nearby residents. The leader of the group, WeatherStorm, had an amazing plan. His plan was to secretly rebuild the factory and make it so it was camouflaged in with the rest of Cloudsdale. They came upon many challenges in the process of reconstruction, such as the risk of being caught. This is the story of the secret reconstruction, and how it led to a great war of the Spectra Harvesters and the uninvolved Equestrians. This is the war for rainbows.

WeatherStorm trotted along the streets of Ponyville, looking for potential recruits for his secret organization. He knew he couldn't recruit Rainbow Dash for the group, because after the factory fell, she got rehab, and swore to herself that she never wanted to hear the two words, Rainbow and Factory together in the same sentence again. So, WeatherStorm was left with nothing but an idea on what a proper recruit would look like. He knew that the recruits had to have a strong belief in the natural processing of spectra. He also knew that they had to be able to keep a secret. He thought to himself for a while. "Who is quiet and good at keeping secrets?" Then he stumbled upon an isolated shack near the Everfree Forest. It seemed so calm and... And... "quiet." He walked over to the door and knocked. There was no answer but a faint shuffling inside. A yellow pegasus peeked out.
"He...Hello?" She seemed very shy.
"Hello, my name is WeatherStorm. What's yours?"
"Um... My name is Fluttersh-"
"Pardon?"
"My name is Fluttershy..." she uttered.
"Hi Fluttershy. Would you mind coming out here to talk?" WeatherStorm asked.
"What about?" she asked softly.
"I have a proposition for you. Would you mind walking with me?"
"O-okay, I guess..." Fluttershy shuffled out of her shack and stared at WeatherStorm. He motioned for her to follow him. As they headed toward Ponyville, WeatherStorm provided a short list of questions for Fluttershy to answer to see if she was a worthy candidate. When they were finished, WeatherStorm had confirmed that she was indeed suited for the spectra harvesting business.
"Say Fluttershy, what do you think about joining a little club I have in the works?"
Fluttershy's eyes widened. "Oh my! No one has ever invited me to a club before? Why would you ask me?"
WeatherStorm looked into her eyes, "Because I see potential in you..."
Fluttershy gladly accepted the invitation and followed WeatherStorm to the hideout.
WeatherStorm performed the secret knock and a pony from inside opened the door. The pony frowned.
"Who the hell is this?" he asked.
"This is Fluttershy everypony. Say hi Fluttershy."
She let out a whispered "hello".
"Fluttershy will be in our group from now on. I have asked her questions and she has past the test with flying colors! She will be a GREAT member."
Fluttershy blushed and hid her face.
WeatherStorm walked up to front of the room and tapped on the board.
"Attention, Attention everypony! The group will now come to order! Now before we begin, would Fluttershy like to say a few words?"
"U-um... I guess I would like to say hi. And also, I am really excited to be here." Everypony in the room clopped their hooves. Then another member in the room stood up and walked to the stage.
"Hello everypony. First of all, I'd like to thank Fluttershy for coming today. Second of all, I'd like to discuss some of our plans for the reconstruction," WeatherStorm was giving an urging cut-off signal, " Since it's downfall, the Rainbow Factory has become a wonderful piece of history. Now we must band together to rebuild it," WeatherStorm was signaling furiously now, "Are you with me?!"
Everypony in the room except for Fluttershy and WeatherStorm were cheering. He facehoofed. Fluttershy began backing into the corner, whimpering under her breath.
"Y-You guys are for the Rainbow Factory? Why would you do this?" She then began backing toward the door of the place, attempting to leave. A grey pegasus in the group ran and blocked the door. Then they all backed her into a corner with questioning glances.
"I haven't told her about the cause yet! I was going to tell her but SOMEPONY decided that they would just put it out there," WeatherStorm groaned, "Now we're going to have to brainwash her..."
Fluttershy's eyes widened when she heard that. Then, everypony in the room surrounded her and carried her to the basement. They sat her down and chained her up.
"I'm so sorry about this," WeatherStorm sighed.
The group then put up homemade propaganda posters on the walls of the basement. The posters stated how great the Factory was. Then they all left the Fluttershy down suffer for 48 hours in the dark, poster filled room.
48 hours later...
WeatherStorm walked down the steps and peered into the darkness. He could hear a slight chuckling. In his mind he knew, she was ready.
