Dumbstruck.

This was the first thing that came to Superman's mind. Absolute But then again, he's seen it too many times to be too surprised. Even so, those were a lot of bad dudes. The sky was a darkish grey, smoke covering the clouds with no peak of sunlight to be seen. The smell of blood lit the air like fire, making it hard to breath for everyone. Gunshots, spears, lasers and bombs was all that filled the atmosphere, sucking energy out of the league.

"How you holding up?" Superman shouted.

"Great! Apart for the fact that I can't hear anything because of the loud damn gunshots!" Cried The Flash.

The Flash was to Superman's right, fighting of 5 aliens with his two skinny bare hands. He was going so fast everything was a blur. Superman smirked. Plain old Barry showing off, as usual. With another wave of the extra-terrestrials pouring down like water from the sky, The Flash let out a quick laugh.

"God damn it! Do we ever get a brake?," said Barry.

"Poor little Barry getting tired?

"I'm just getting started..."

Cyborg woke up with sweat pouring down his face. Alarmed and scared the first couple of seconds were in shock. He took the the sheets of and got up for a drink of milk.

Another bad dream, he thought.

The amount of nightmares in cyborgs head grew increasingly every day. He blocked the thoughts and took a cold sip of his drink. His robot hard started to hurt, so he decided to reconfigure the settings to cool it down a little. After what happened at the lab, he spoke to no one about. The pain he had to go through... he... thought he would've died. But nevertheless he goes on. He put his glass in the dish washer and shut the fridge, cutting off the coolness he was ever so loving. He hoped back into bed, thinking about what his friends were doing. Sleeping, fighting of bad guys, all the other stuff they do. Whilst he slipped back to sleep the banging of a door awoke him.

"OPEN THE DOOR!"

He got his suit on and waited for any possibility of evil. As he controlled his gun from stun to kill, he opened the door slightly, only to be standing there but Wonder Woman. By the look on her face he knew something terrible was wrong. He looked down to what she was holding, only to appear Green Lantern. He then turned his head to his body. To his sight there was blood everywhere, with a hole right through his stomach...

The Flash dodged a bullet coming straight for his head. He loves being fast. It almost feels normal, seeing everything in slow motion. Even so, his power had saved him many times before. He looks over his shoulder and sees Batman through a Batwing to one of the aliens faces, cutting through his tendons and brain, leaving a bloody hole through his eyes and nose.

"FLASH! Keep your eyes up, they're everywhere, so stay alert," shouted Bruce.

"Oh please Batsy! Quit your complaining. Oh, and watch out behind you," smiled Flash.

Batman does as his told, grabs his shock knife and shoves it behind him, leaving the alien to fall to his knees. He runs up to his bat mobile and front flips graciously into it, just like a scene in a movie. He presses BATFLY and the bat mobile morphs into a flying bat contraption. He holds down the joy stick as far as it goes and flys straight into the dimension portal the aliens have created. He opens a glass case with the button, Gun-fires, on it and presses. The machine-guns spin out and release open fire to the ships trying to get a gasp of Earth air. Batman snickers and cracks his knuckles.

"Now, let's get down to some business!"
