She decides it's not a big deal.

So what if Carly said she might like Freddork? It doesn't mean anything will come of it. And so what if they've been hanging out every day? It doesn't mean they're dating.

Sam likes being in this happy place called denial. If she don't like it, it ain't true. And she most certainly does not like the thought of Carly dating Freddie. Even if it did make Carly happy.

But it's just so weird, she argues with herself. It's Fredward. And Carly. And...what?

The part that makes her angriest is that she knew it was coming. She just tried to prevent it. It's not like she liked being around Freddie in the first place, and now...

Well, since she was here, in the land called denial, she tried not to have these thoughts. When she saw them hug, she interrupted. When they whispered to themselves, she cracked a joke. When they held hands, she acted like she didn't see. Ignorance is bliss, they say. She agrees with this.

So when she skips up to the iCarly studio, all geared up to do a webshow, and sees her two best friends kissing by the tech cart, she turns around and walks away.

It's not a big deal, she keeps telling herself. And eventually, she believes it.

xx

Sorry if that sounded Sam/Freddie-ish to anyone...it wasn't supposed to at all. But I guess it could be read that way, though I prefer you didn't.

Trying my hand at Creddie - and decided that I need to include Sam in some way. Can't let go of her character yet, I guess.
