Summary: Sora had long since fallen under his command, dutifully obeying every whispered command to fall from those peach lips. Even in death, Roxas stood by his side, as strong and composed as ever. And he would not be afraid, for whilst they would be forever lost in the darkness, he had his loved one by his side, and that was enough.

Soft lips lingered in the back of Sora's mind, ever since he had awakened from his deep sleep, and he now knew why. It was Roxas, it was all Roxas. Roxas was part of him, a by-product of his existence and, as loath as he was to admit it, a sinfully beautiful part, however narcissistic that may seem.

Those peach colored lips, they whispered to him, they told him what to do, and he would find himself obeying without question. They held him on a primal level, and in his thoughts he felt them grow in their influence, and even as he fought their power rose to the surface.

And against his will it burst forth, like the water in a damn, it overwhelmed him, and when his vision finally cleared enough to bring him back to reality, all he would find was the tell tale wisps of black smoke and a tainted heart rising from its midst, and in his mind those same lips would curve into the smallest of smiles.

He was caught in their clutches, like a fly in a web.

Try as he might, he couldn't resist the temptation when he first saw them in real life, how could he?

Blonde, flaxen hair and blue eyes so much like his own; they radiated an aura of sadness and longing. Yet whatever inner turmoil his young noboy felt, a smile was always curled defiantly upon his lips, and the only words he said were.

Believe in yourself, believe in me and you'll be fine.

And he followed those words to this very day, and as his eyes closed and gave in to welcoming darkness, Roxas was there with him, by his side and as he drew his last ragged breath he still held a smile on his face as they joined together.

To be forever lost in darkness together..

Together...

Together....
