Pookey Ball Ball
After the World Championships took place, Tyson had found a small dog in the streets. Liking it immediately, he took it with him to the stadium. Hillary then convinced Hiro and the others to keep him and dubbed him: Pookey.
Rei thought it was a stupid name, but what made it better was when it jumped on Kai, they all got the satisfaction of hearing him yell, "POOKEY! GET OFF ME!"
Rei snickered at the thought, but was brought back to reality when he heard sharp yipping filling the courtyard-sized room and that of the many floors below it. Yes, he thought the dog was cute. But it was annoying!
Once again Tyson was trying to calm it down, soon joined by Max, then Emily; who had been in the middle of a practicing Tennis, the machine shooting out the tennis balls almost faster than she could hit them. Pookey had a fascination with the machine, often chasing after the tennis balls.
Rei sighed, looking over at Kai and the other Blitzkrieg Boys he saw the same irritation mirrored on their faces. He was able to bare it for a few more minutes and then he snapped.
His eye twitching in annoyance, he stood, gently placing his book on the couch-making sure not to loose his page- he walked to the machine, which had been turned off and faced it towards the nearest open window.
With that he turned up the 'power' gauge and flicked the 'on' switch. Pookey's ears twitched as he heard it.
Annoyance clear in his voice he growled out, "Pookey," It's head snapped up and he looked at Rei, tail wagging. "Ball ball."
With that he squeezed the trigger, ignoring the terrified faces of the All-Starz, and BBA Revolution. A tennis ball shot out the window so fast that Pookey almost missed seeing it... almost.
Then, yipping loudly in excitement, he raced across the room to the window and jumped out.
Grinning in satisfaction as a whimper was heard several seconds later, he turned and walked back to the couch, the Blitzkrieg Boys watching him with both amusement and shock.
He winked at Kai, who he could tell was on the verge of laughing, and grabbed his book, opening to his page, he laid back down on the couch. The quiet snickers alerted him to the fact that he had broken through the 'Barriers of Emotionless Doom', as Tyson had stupidly named their reserve.
Looking up for a second, his eyes locked with a mischievous & amused, moonlight colored pair of eyes. Slowly he grinned again and winked; only slightly surprised when both were returned.
He heard sniffles and almost felt guilty when he saw that Tyson was crying, staring at the window. Then again that was completely erased the second he saw Emily and Max's faces. They, all in all, looked like a couple of blowfish. Eyes and mouth wide open as they stared, in shock, their heads turned, eyes look at Rei, Tennis Ball Machine, window, Gasp. Rei, Tennis Ball Machine...
He snickered and continued to read. A soft scratching noise filled the room, and as soon as the door opened in rushed Pookey, jumping on Rei's stomach and setting down the ball.
Rei's eye twitched, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Just a random one-shot that popped into my head one day.
I might continue it, turning it into all the different ways Rei tries to kill the dog, if he has help, what will come to pass between he and Bryan... xD
ECT.
