Disclaimer: This comes from too many hours spent watching Halloween specials, including that of Casper, the movie, which I do NOT own. I don't own Harry Potter, either, which is sort of a bummer.

This story is dedicated to George the Merman. Don't ask.

"May I have this dance?"

She glanced upward and, upon seeing who it was, grinned obligingly and nodded.

After taking her hand in his, he led her towards a large area of grassland. He placed his hands on her waist and she linked her fingers together behind his neck. Slowly, they began swaying to the music, which was softly emitting from the Wizarding Wireless he had placed on the ground previously. They gazed into each other's eyes – completely oblivious to the world around them.

As she became lost in his emerald green eyes with her own chocolately brown ones, she knew everything was perfect. She was in heaven. She felt as if they were gliding across the ground.

Come to think of it, she couldn't feel the ground under her feet. She looked down and was shocked to see it slowly drifting away. She immediately tightened her hold on him. She heard him chuckling quietly into her ear. She turned her head to see him grinning.

"Told you I was a good dancer. Don't worry, Gin, I won't let you fall."

She watched him adoringly and rested her head peacefully on his broad shoulder. Neither felt the need to talk, for they were perfectly comfortable in their silence. After a few minutes (they weren't sure of the real amount of time that had passed), he spoke.

"Ginny?"

"Hmm?"

He leaned closer to her ear and spoke so quietly she barely heard him.

"Can I keep you?"

After recovering from her momentary astonishment, she smiled, and leant towards him until their lips met in a sweet, gentle kiss. When they broke apart, she finally whispered a soft, but firm, "Yes."
