Forbidden Love
Chapter One: The Meeting
(Do not Own Inuyasha)
"Kagome?" a white haired man called out for the woman.
"I'm over here." she waved down the man.
"I have something to tell you." he looked down.
"What is it?" she looked, "Inuyasha?"
"I choose Kikyo," he looked at her, "Not you."
Kagome dropped her arrows, tears forming in her eyes. Kikyo comes up behind Inuyasha grabbing his hand, staring a cold stare, shooting straight towards Kagome. Kagome walks backwards from the couple. She cared deeply for him, more than that clay pot could care for him, and he was going to throw her and her feelings to the side.
"Kagome, my decision is final." he snapped, "stop crying."
She couldn't help but cry, the tears rushed down her face like a rushing river. Her eyes became sore from her salty tears. Kagome couldn't stop, for her heart broke into pieces, shattering with Inuyasha's words.
"Your not as good as the original." Inuyasha deepened the shattering of her heart, "your just a mere copy."
Kagome's crying worsened with Inuyasha's final words being spoken. Kagome ran from the couple never looking back. She was going to remove Inuyasha and that clay pot from her life. She couldn't bare the thought of those two together. She stops looking around noticing she walked into the deep dark forest, all alone in the middle of the night. She walked with her arms folded into an opening from the forest, looking around for shelter.
"Oh where am I?" she looked around, "I don't have anything to protect myself…"
Boom!
"What was that!"
Boom!
"Sounds like a fight." she looked up to the sky.
She noticed on the cliff that there was a huge demon and a much smaller demon fighting against the larger one. They went on their fight for hours, attacking each other constantly. The much smaller demon slashed at the larger demons face. Bouncing back towards the edge of the cliff. The smaller demon went in for another attack, but the large demon slashed hitting the smaller demon. The smaller demon flung off the cliffs edge. The demon fell towards the water at the bottom of the cliff. Kagome watched as the demon fell into the water causing a large splash. She darts towards the water, jumping into the waters depths. She pulls the demon up from the water. She pulls the demon to the waters edge noticing that it was an attractive young man, then notices he wasn't breathing.
"Oh! He must of sucked in some water!" Kagome started to panic.
She quickly removed the mans armored chest plate. She began to give this man CPR. Kagome pushed on his chest, plugging his nose and began blowing air into his mouth. She tried this method several time. He began coughing and spitting up water. He rubbed his head noticing it was bandaged, then he looked quickly to the woman who backed away. His head began pounding, he opening his mouth to speak but the pounding headache stopped him from speaking.
"Your head, it hit the rocks in the water." she spoke up.
She glances at his well toned body as he was sitting up rubbing his head. To her, his body was flawless, she couldn't help but stare.
"Like what you see." he began laughing.
A blush appeared on her face, making her turn her head to the side. She shook the blush off her face.
"Ah… I never got your name?" Kagome asked.
"Kouga, leader of the wolf clan." he said with confidence. "and you are?"
"Kagome," she looked down, "a priestess."
"Not that good of one, I'm judging by your appearance." he laughed.
"WHAT!?"
"A priestess for one wouldn't wear such a revealing outfit, not that I'm complaining." he didn't stop laughing, "and another reason you wouldn't help a demon."
"I help all. Demons or humans!" she folded his arms.
"Well aren't you a feisty one." he smirked.
"I'm a good and strong priestess!" she glared.
"Well you did save my life, you did have the guts for that one."
"Well… I… um…" she stumbled her words.
"You are a cute girl, and you did save my life. Others would have just kept walking by." he rubbed his chin, "you do have guts for a human, and for a girl. How about you be my mate?"
"What!" she blinked several times. "Why?"
"Cause you are a brave girl and a feisty one, and I like that." he made the young girl blush once more.
She couldn't help but blush, all she did was save this man, and now he wants her to be his mate! She couldn't believe what she was hearing.
"I'll take care of you, so you don't have to worry."
"Ah… I really don't know what to say."
"A 'yes' would be an answer." he laughed.
"I don't know you, and how can I trust you!"
"Well you saved my life and you have my word, you can trust me." he smiled.
"I guess your right…" she looked down.
-- Morning --
"What the hell?" she rubbed her neck.
She looked around and notices that he's gone. She continues to rub her neck, it was sore and it puffed out a little bit. She walked to the waters edge and noticed that there were bit marks near her shoulder. Kagome became furious for being claimed without giving a straight forward answer. The morning past and he still didn't return. She started to become very hungry. She sighs as she looks to the ground. Kagome walked back into the forest.
"Once again, I've been played!" she yelled.
"played?" a voice asked.
Kagome twirled around to the familiar voice.
"Yes played!" she looked at the man.
"who?" he asked.
"You!" she shoved her finger to his chest.
"How?" he asked once more.
"You left…" she started out but was cut off.
"I came back didn't I." he smiled.
She blinked a couple times. He was right, he did return. Then she remembered the mark on her neck. She began to fume with anger. He noticed her look of confusion to now contain much more anger then before, he began to back away slowly.
"What is this!" she yelled pulling her collar down.
"Well it looks like a bite mark."
"Stop acting like a smart ass!"
"Ok, ok. It was the moment, I really couldn't contain myself." he scratched his head, "plus your beauty over whelmed me also."
"I don't remember any of this!" tears form in her eyes.
"What! Oh no you were awake!" he began to panic. "You agreed with me."
The tears flowed down her face, she agreed and she couldn't remember.
"Kagome?" he called out to her.
She turned around crying, he placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Um… I'm sorry…" he looked the other way.
"Its … its… its… okay…" she rubbed her eyes. "I may be just to stressed to remember."
He looked at her, just to agree with her.
"well you don't have anything to worry about. No more stressing out, I will protect you." he smiled.
