The Duties of An Amazing Boyfriend

A/N: from what I gather, you all really like The Protector Of Harvey Kinkle so far. I personally thought that story was trash/crap but if it makes you happy, then I'll keep it up. This fic is still short but Nick/Harvey or KinkScratch as Tumblr calls it. I hope you enjoy it, nonetheless.

Nick sets a cup of hot chocolate on his drawing table with a kiss to his temple, snapping him out of his trance-like state he'd previously been in. The sun has already dipped behind the skirting of Nick's windows and now the stars are shining brightly, demonstrating to Harvey how much time he'd spent staring into space instead of working,

Nick presses another kiss to his temple, practically oozing love with every exhale, and Harvey himself is consumed with love for this warlock. He looks up, knowing that his eyes are filled with love and adoration from the soft smile Nick sends him in return, and presses a gentle kiss to the lush, red lips that belong to him, feeling as though he's flying high in the clouds.

When they pull away, breathless and laughing slightly, Harvey notices the roses scattered around the floor. Tears spring to his eyes as he takes in the roses, illuminated by the glow of Nick's nicer candles, the ones he'd been saving for a special occasion, the little classical record they both loved playing gently in the background. It's the nicest and most romantic thing anyone's ever done for him and any love he felt for Nick earlier is washed out by an even higher, more dangerous wave that threatens to drown Harvey as well.

"I love you so much Nicholas Scratch. I love you more than you can even being to fathom. You are the light of my life." He chokes out, feverishly pressing kisses to every inch of exposed skin he can reach while simultaneously dragging Nick onto the couch for hour long cuddles. "Thank you so, so much for doing this."

"Darling, it's my duty as your amazing boyfriend to do anything for you." Is all Nick can manage before Harvey slams them onto the couch and his mind drifts to other, more important things.
