On one Autumn day, Jack sat on a windowsill at the Pole. North and Bunny were arguing over which holiday was the best, whilst Tooth was giving instructions to her mini-fairies. Sandy was drinking eggnog by the fire. Instead of paying attention to all this, Jack stared at the rapidly falling snow. A storm, one which Jack had no control over (It was Mother Nature's doing), had hit the Pole. It would seem like any normal storm. Yet with this storm, came a memory. One Jack thought was lost forever...
*Lightning flashes outside a window, whilst rain pelts down onto the ground outside. Inside a house on the edge of a forest, a Boy who was about 17 with short brown hair and brown eyes, was sat on a chair, reading a book whilst snuggled under a blanket. This boy was Jackson (Jack) Overland. Infront of him, by a large fireplace, sat a 7 year old girl with long brown hair and the same brown eyes who was playing with two dolls that were of a girl and a boy, the boy holding a crooked staff. Jack was singing a song*
Jack: A naoidhean bhig, cluinn mo ghuth
Mise ri d' thaobh, O mhaighdean bhàn
Ar rìbhinn òg, fàs a's faic
Do thìr, dìleas féin
*Thunder booms and lightning flashes. The little girl screams and crawls under the blanket. She crawls up onto the boys lap, still hiding under the blanket*
Jack: *chuckles and lifts back the blanket, revealing the little girl* Oh Emma. My brave little sister, I'm here. *strokes her face as the thunder keeps booming* I'll always be right here. *Emma smiles and hugs Jack, a hug which he returns*
Jack: A naoidhean bhig, cluinn mo ghuth
Jack and Emma: Mise ri d' thaobh, O mhaighdean bhàn
Ar rìbhinn òg, fàs a's faic
Do thìr, dìleas féin
A ghrian a's a ghealach, stiùir sinn
Gu uair ar cliù 's ar glòir
Naoidhean bhig, ar rìbhinn òg
Maighdean uasal bhàn
*The memory fades*
