The glorious sun was in the sky, reflecting all its rays mercilessly at the Earth, heating it up. He looked into the distance, using his hand to cover his eyes from the harsh light. Where was she? In this vast garden of his, it was easy to get lost. The view was breathtaking though, consisting forests of flourishing blossoms, all showing off their vibrant hues. The lake glistened and enticed one to dip into its cool shallow waters. The mountains were gentle slopes, rolling up and down in an array of hills, filling the background. The sky was in full glory, its wash filled with highlighting blues. And among this calm scenery, there she was.

She was dressed in summer attire; the cloth billowed below her knees as she twirled around in the field of flowers. Her golden-spun hair fluttered in the wind, giving her a sense of naiveté. Her eyes showed care as she continued giving her attention to the well maintained garden. Water droplets escaped from the hose, surrounding her in sparkling mist. Humming a few simple notes, she turned around to see him, sending him an innocent smile.

He felt warm in the face, deciding to turn his head around to avoid the confused look from her. There she was, in the midst of his field of plants, looking peaceful and angelic. It was almost like she belonged here. But no, she was only here temporarily, although it pained him to admit so. His little sister was bound to want to leave his care and take control upon her shoulders. But he couldn't deny that he didn't that to happen. But why? Because she was his. His only.
