In the beginning, when Asgard was first created, there was magical creatures everywhere. There was so many of them, it was dangerous for the Asgardians who lived there.
There was so many species like pegasi, unicorns, fairies, talking animals, regular animals with powers, beautiful flowers that would curse you if you'd touch them, giant serpents, dragons, etc.
But the dragons were the most terrifying. The Asgardians ended up rebuilding the city of Asgard because of the dragons who would fly through the city and burn everything down. the Asgardians feared dragons so much, the king, Bor, ordered his military to try and catch as many as they could and put them in captivity and use them in war. It wasn't easy, but it helped.
Every time they rebuilt the city and a dragon came along, the whole city would come together and catch it with ropes and lock it up.
And one time a young girl was tromping through the woods and she met a fairy. They became good friends and the fairy taught the young girl magic. When the fairy had died of old age and the young girl was a teenager, she taught her friends and family magic and it went on.
Then once most of Asgard knew magic and a dragon came through, they'd cast a spell on it, transporting it into its cage. And it became easier for the Asgardians to train the dragons for war too! By shielding their bodies from the dragon's breath of flame. After a while, the dragons and all of the magical creatures thought the Asgardians were gods, even though they really weren't.
But Fåre the dragon (also known as Danger) is the one who changed the Asgardian society, causing most of them to think they really were gods.
Because it all started when they had thought they had caught the last dragon and the realm was now considered "safe" and a woman was walking on the beach and found herself staring at a big black dragon the size of a half of a blue whale, which is small for a dragon. He was just minding his own business, drinking his water, until the woman's screaming caught his attention. He decided to just ignore her, but she just continued to scream. So he replied with a loud roar as in to say, "Shut up!"
She did alright. But she was just too stupid because she ran. And just like wild cats, it was pure instinct to chase whatever was running, which he did. He chased her down and she led him into at the time was the middle of the city of Asgard.
The city gathered and did a full power of magic to transport Fåre into his new cage. But Fåre was still an infant dragon, he was like a sponge, so whatever you did, he would soak it up, and the magic turned Fåre's fire into the color black. And his muscles to gain strength. And his scales as shiny as a diamond. It even caused him to become immortal. Fåre was so ashamed of his new self, he allowed the Asgardians to imprison him.
But every now and then, they took Fåre out of his cage and tried to train him, but they couldn't. The only thing Fåre was interested in was to be free.
The Asgardians now knew they could curse anything. Which is why some of them cursed their children into having powers and become immortal. And the children would go to school and be told by the teachers and the students that they were gods and should never be ashamed of who they are.
And as a marker of where they caught the infant dragon, Fåre, they built the entrance to the Bifröst bridge.
But because it was such a long time ago, nobody thinks about Fåre anymore as they enter and exit the bridge.
Note: Later on in the future, a guard found Fåre locked up under the castle and he set the dragon free by giving him his own cave to live in and he told Fåre not to harm any Asgardians. And so, Fåre did as he was told.
Aaaand we haveth a happy ending… I think. Lol
