Amelia stormed down the hallway of her house ignoring her mother. She was furious. They had yet again had the argument that they had been having for the past few months. Her mother was supposed to support her every decision but she wouldn't support her in her plan after she graduated from Hogwarts in a few years

"AMELIA SUSAN BONES!" Her mother yelled after her, "Listen to me now or I'll bind you and make you listen to me," and Amelia knew her mother would do just that from past experience.

Amelia turned around and glared at her mother, she truly loved her but this was getting annoying. "What?" she growled out. "I think we're done here. You don't want me to join the Auror Corps and you won't let me think anything else. You're supposed to support me in all that I want to do so why not this? Tell me that and if its good I'll leave the subject alone and think about going into another profession but it had better be a damn good reason," Amelia forced out. She usually didn't swear but she couldn't help it at that point, she was to wound up.

"I love you Melly, and I do want you to be happy but I don't… I can't… I don't want you putting your life on the line. I don't want to loose you. It's hard enough with your brother and father in them but I can't have you in them too. I couldn't be able to stand it if you died in the line of duty and before you say it I had this same argument with Edgar when he decided to join them so it isn't just you that I don't want joining them," her mother explained to her.

Amelia had to admit that she made a lot of sense. She knew that she would feel the same way if she was in her mother's position but it was her dream, her passion, she couldn't just toss it away like it meant nothing to her. "Mum, I love you too. I'll consider what you said. I don't want to die but this has been my dream for so long that I can't just simply forget about it over night. I will consider what you said though," and with that they forgot their argument and went on with their day like nothing had happened to them.
