A little midnight wish

hi everyone! So basically I love La corda D'oro and am a big supporter of LenxKaho (though this one is not about them ) I decided to write my first fanfic for it :D
hope you guys enjoy!
Ps- review please!

Azuma sighed, as he lay on his bed. Another day of boring business had just passed, and each day just seemed to get longer and longer. True, he had beaten his brothers and had become the head of the family business, but yet he just couldn't conquer the emptiness inside him. It cut through him, every second of the day, every second.

He turned, seeking support on his right elbow as he stared out of the slightly open window, while hearing the silent breaths of his deeply unhappy wife, who seemed to suffer, but nothing in comparison to him. The open windows seemed to give way to shimmering moonlight, as the curtains began to get blown by the wind.

Shimmer, he thought. The word which described that crimson headed girl's eyes, always filled with joy, hope, faith, and fear whenever he directly looked into them. Her golden eyes, which seemed to look at the world in a whole different way, always captured his attention. Her unrecognizable pattern of responding to different situations deeply interested and amused him. His little china doll, that was what she was always to him.

Sometimes, he pondered on the "ifs". What if he had never shown her his dark side? Would then she be the one beside him, rather than this distressed woman? What if he would have not been so prideful and would have conveyed his feelings to her? Would she have accepted, like she accepted Len's, or declined, like she had done with the rest? He let out another sigh. Pride. His worst enemy.

He stole a look at the watch- 11:11. His eyes widened. He remembered hearing someone say that if one made a wish at this time, the wish would come true. He smiled. Yes, he was Azuma. Azuma Yunoki. But sometimes doing stupid things wouldn't hurt. Especially if they came true, he hoped.

" I wish that I would leave behind my pride," he said, and after thinking for a while, added," and what i feel for Hino, she may feel the same for me."

He smiled, felt accomplished, and closed his eyes to sleep. Surely by tomorrow, something would change. Sadly, he didn't notice that before his little addition of the wish he had for Hino, the clock had already stuck 11:12.

HA! Lol, I really don't like Azuma but his personality intrigues me. So there! Review, please? O.O
