I don't own Torchwood because if I did then the ending to Children of Earth: Day Four would never have even been thought of.

Please review and tell me what you think.

Jack looked at the body in front of him. He still looked like the same Ianto that had laughed with him just a few days ago, there were no horrific wounds or any thing. That made it worse, because it made Jack believe the impossible that Ianto might wake up, like it was all just a really bad dream. They had had little over a year together, it was not long enough … not nearly long enough.

"Dinner … movie?"

"Are you asking me out on a date?"

"I've watched you in your sleep, did you know that?"

"I wonder if you're dreaming about me, I hope you're dreaming about me."

"We need to get you out. I can survive anything, but you can't"

"It's too late, I breathe the air."

"There's gotta be something. There's gotta be an antidote."

"You said you would fight."

"Then I take it back. I take it all back, all right. But not him."

"It's all my fault."

"It's not."

"Save your breath."

"I love you."

"Don't"

He'd lost him. He'd lost his Ianto, and there was nothing he could do.
