Merlin/Morgana
He now knows how scary it is for Gwen if she is caught with Arthur by Uther. It's exactly the same for him, if he is caught by Uther, with his daughter, the Lady Morgana.
Before, when Gwen or Arthur would tell him how scared they were of being caught, he would laugh it off. Now, he understands, because he wants to be with Morgana, but knows he has to be careful, and knows that he can't and it's forbidden and he would be killed for it. But he doesn't mind. Sometimes, he thinks about running away with her, they would be better off than Gwen and Arthur, with magic at their fingertips. But there are to many variables, Uther being just one of them.
But one touch from her silences all that; all the fear and worry, to be replaced by lust, or dare he say it, love? Could he love her? Is it possible?
As he thinks upon that, he is transported to the moment when he first saw her. The dark black hair cascading down her back, and dark eyes, he saw just for a split second, so mysterious and, damn it, enticing. Drawing him to her, and he hates and loves her for it.
He loves sneaking around, especially at the start around Arthur, because it felt like he had another upper-hand, but when him and Gwen found out, they couldn't deny it, not even if they'd wanted to, they were in mid-kiss. But they understood, they were in a very similar situation, and it became easier to sneak around. He would go off with Arthur, Morgana would leave with Gwen, the four of them would then meet somewhere, and the couples going their separate ways for a few hours, then returning. So, when either couple would have a close shave, another person from the other couple would cover for them. It was easier, and Merlin didn't know wether he liked having not to sneak around so much.
He loves being in this relationship, the fire and passion, and magic coursing through their veins to add to the heat. They are very lucky in this respect, not many people meet a person with a similar gift to themselves, let alone a lover. Their eyes glow gold every time they kiss, but can easily and quickly be diminished, which is lucky for them if they happen to be caught.
They long for nights, seeing each other, with little fear of getting caught and all the worries fade away and they both get caught up in kissing.
He is guided into her chambers and she shuts the door, quickly turning around to meet him in a touch, a kiss which lasts a lifetime. Her name rolls so easily off his tongue, it still surprises him. She says his in reply and he loves the way she says it, in a way no one else does or ever will, the dialect is so different and that is one of the things he loves about her.
There are so many things he loves about her it would be hard to pick just one; her hair, her eyes, her soul, her kisses, her anger, her love. Everything that makes her Morgana.
If he could, he'd spend every second of his life with her, even though she'd never let him, unless he persuaded her... She makes him forget that he's a lowly servant, who doesn't get enough praise. She makes him forget about his duty to save Arthur's life. She makes him forget about preserving Albion. She makes him feel adored, admired and loved in a way that nobody else could.
"Morgana..." He breathes it so easily, he wonders sometimes if her name was only meant to be said by him.
"Merlin..." She replies, breathless and smiling. So much is said in those two words, it's a wonder how it's possible. But all the talking is done for now as they start to become one.
The ending is suckish but oh well! Hope you enjoyed! Review and tell me what you think!
